The 2015 Lower Mainland ski season begins when Whistler opens its slopes on November 19, with Blackcomb opening its side of the mountain just one week later.

Ski Hill 2015 Opening Details
Whistler opens for the season on Thursday, November 19th this year. That’s one week before schedule and the plan is to have five lifts running, including the Creekside Gondola, Emerald Express, Whistler Village Gondola, Franz’s Chair and Big Red Express.
Blackcomb is scheduled to open as planned a week later, on Thursday, November 28.
As of mid-November, Whistler had received 132 cm (or 52 inches) of snow so far this month. That’s almost 4 and a half feet!
