Pacific Arts Market showcased the work of over 80 BC artists at its art and gift store location on West Broadway in Vancouver’s South Granville District.
A women-owned venue, the market was a place to admire and buy locally-made art. In addition to being an art store and gallery, it also hosted art workshops and special events throughout the year.

Where is Pacific Arts Market
The art gallery and gift store was located at 1448 West Broadway. The place is about a block east of Granville Street, so right in the heart of South Granville, about a 20-minute walk from Granville Island.

Hours of Operation
As of the spring of 2024, Pacific Arts Market was open four days a week. In the summer and busier seasons though it was open for more days and for longer hours. As of the last time we checked, it was open on Thursdays and Fridays from noon until 6:30 pm. Hours on Saturdays and Sundays are from 11:30 am until 5:30 pm.
What to Expect
At Pacific Arts Market you could find a really nice art gallery showcasing the works of local BC artists. The place was also an art market where you could both admire and buy lots of art, from paintings to pottery and other beautiful pieces. You could see all sorts of amazing creations by over 80 different artists.
At the venue there was an art studio area where you might see artists working, or a group of art enthusiasts and students doing a workshop. In the market area you could also get to meet an artist or two (or more) and be able to chat with them about their work.
Pacific Arts Market was a very interesting place. It was a nice destination if you wanted to buy art from local artists, or just drop by to admire a wide range of artistic creations. It was also a great place to take workshops, do art yourself, or simply attend a fun event.

Events at Pacific Arts Market
Events were always happening at Pacific Arts Market. Pretty much every week there were art workshops. In the summer there were farmers markets, and at various times of the year other major events. The market and its resident artists also took part in larger events, like the West of Main Art Walk where artists over a wide area in the City of Vancouver open their studios to the public in May.
