VancouversBestPlaces.com is a website that promotes best places and things to do in the Lower Mainland. We cover everything from Harrison Hot Springs to Whistler. Our website is one of the top most-viewed events and tourism-focused websites in British Columbia. Vancouver’s Best Places is a proudly Canadian, locally-owned, Metro Vancouver-based and carbon-neutral organization.

A big part of Vancouver’s Best Places’ mandate is to support local businesses, non-profit events, and the arts, cultural, tourism and hospitality industries in the Lower Mainland. Another part of our purpose is to encourage people to support local businesses and to buy local.
Half our advertising partners are non-profit organizations. Most of the rest are small local businesses.
We receive no government funding. It’s only with the support of our advertising partners that we can do what we do (which is supporting the local arts, culture, events, tourism and hospitality industries in the Lower Mainland).
Our Brands
The VancouversBestPlaces.com website is our original website and by far our main one. It gets around 3 million views per year. We have other smaller regional websites too, however, including VictoriasBestPlaces.com and WhatToDoInWhistler.ca.

The above new websites vary in their degrees of comprehensiveness. Some have just been soft launched. Others are much more developed. With all of them, our plan is to continue to grow and develop them over the course of the next couple of years. Why have we created all these new sites?
