Alouette Cemetery in Maple Ridge at Halloween in October
Alouette Cemetery is an annual Halloween-themed attraction in Maple Ridge. Two front yards in a residential neighbourhood are transformed into a large and spooky display in October. There are fabulous lights and decorations to check out, including amazing hand-made animatronic skeletons that move at night. The attraction also features over 40 gravestones with whimsical names and epitaphs to lighten the mood.
The display is family-friendly and an interesting place for all ages. It’s a community tradition that draws crowds of locals and people visiting Maple Ridge. Admission to Alouette Cemetery is free. Donations supporting Katie’s Place Animal Shelter are appreciated!
Alouette Cemetery Location
Alouette Cemetery is located at 12795 227A Street in Maple Ridge. It’s in a residential area just south of the Alouette River. If driving to the attraction, head north on 227 Street. The road eventually turns right and becomes 128 Avenue. Take the first right turn into 227A Street, and the display is at the first two houses on the right side of the road. You won’t miss it!
Dates and Hours
Alouette Cemetery is up to admire throughout October, so from the 1st until Halloween night. The lights and special effects, however, only operate between 6:00 pm and 9:00 pm. It’s nice to see the display during the day, but the decorations come alive at night!
