Located on Marine Drive in North Vancouver, Capilano Mall is a shopping centre with around 70 stores and services. Its main anchor store is Walmart.

About Capilano Mall in North Vancouver
Capilano Mall is located at 935 Marine Drive in North Vancouver. It’s about 3.5 km southeast of Capilano Suspension Bridge, or around the same distance east of the Lions Gate Bridge.
The mall is home to around 70 different stores and service providers including Walmart, Visions Electronics and Urban Planet. There is also a BC Liquor Store, Dollar Tree and lots of other retailers. In 2025 the mall announced it would soon also be home to over a dozen pickleball courts! Places to eat at the mall include the Khaghan Restaurant, Captain’s Oven Pizza, Donair Dude, Pine Sushi Square, Waves Coffee House and more.
As of the fall of 2025, the mall is open from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm on Mondays to Saturdays. It’s also open from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm on Sundays and holidays.

Halloween at Capilano Mall in October
On October 31st, 2025, there is a free event with family-friendly Halloween-themed activities. Between 3:00 and 5:00 pm there is DJ music, photo opportunities, and Halloween treats (while supplies last). The event features candy, costumed characters, and a splash of Wizard of Oz magic. It’ll be wicked!
At the event there are characters from Oz — Glinda, Fiyero and Elphaba. There is also a Wicked-inspired Instagram wall, where, if you take a photo of yourself there, post it to Instagram and tag @shopcapilanomall, you’ll get a chance to win a $250 gift card to use at the mall. (Note: The Wickedly Wonderful backdrop is at the shopping centre between October 20th and the 31st, so you can take your photos and enter the contest anytime between those dates.)

Nowruz Persian New Year Celebrations at Capilano Mall in March
The Persian New Year is called Nowruz and it’s an important holiday in Iran, and for members of Persian communities around the world, including in North Vancouver. Vancouver’s North Shore, actually, has quite a large Persian population. For that reason, Capilano Mall celebrates the occasion with a special event. In 2025 it was on March 22nd.
The Persian New Year event at the mall includes dancing and drumming performances as well as cultural displays. Dance performances last year were with the Academy of Middle Eastern Dance (AMED) which showcased traditional dances and their vibrant costumes.
Bubble Fest at Capilano Mall
In June 2025 the mall hosted a new event. Bubble Fest was a free, family-friendly affair that ran on a Saturday from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. Bubble Fest featured a fun and interactive 30-minute show hosted by Science World. There was also complimentary balloon twisting and face painting as well as craft activities, photo opportunities, a Bubble Show with Ash Bubblez, and a giant inflatable bubble dome. Admission to the event and its activities was free.
