The Abbotsford Farm & Country Market is a fairly large farmers market that features local produce and artisan products on Saturdays in Abbotsford.

The market tyically runs from early May until the end of October. 2026 dates are to confirmed.

TIP: If you’re in Abbotsford around mid-August, be sure to go to Mill Lake Park for Symphony in the Park. It’s a great event and admission is free (although donations are greatly appreciated). The event’s 2026 date is to be confirmed.

Abbotsford Farm & Country Market

The Abbotsford Farm & Country Market started in 2003 and over the many years has grown to be a staple in the Fraser Valley. In the summer, the market usually runs from early May until the fall. Being in the heart of the Fraser Valley – the Lower Mainland’s main farming region – the produce at the Abbotsford market tends to be extra fresh and very local.

Where and When is the Market?

The Abbotsford Farm & Country Market takes place on Saturdays from 9:00 am until 1:00 pm from early May until late October. There used to be a winter market too, but it hasn’t happened in a few years.

The market is held at Jubilee Park which is located at 2552 McCallum Road at the corner of McCallum and South Fraser Way in Abbotsford.

While in the area, there are several other attractions to check out. For families with young children, fun activities are available at both Maan Farms and Taves Family Farms. Lakeland Flowers also hosts its Abbotsford Tulip Festival during the first few weeks of the summer market.

What to Expect at the Market

In the winter there are only about 24 vendors at each market, which makes it a mid-sized market for that season. As stated earlier, though, this market hasn’t happened for a few years. In the summer, however, on a peak day there can be as many as 48 vendors which makes it one of the Lower Mainland’s larger farmers markets.

Like many farmers markets, at the Abbotsford Farm & Country Market you can expect a wide variety of things for sale. There are fresh fruits and vegetables from local farmers, homemade preserves, baked goods, crafts and even a bit of live music entertainment. Of special note is the fact that the majority of vendors are growers and food producers from the immediate Abbotsford area.
