Vancouver’s Brazilian Carnaval in 2026
The Brazilian Carnaval is an event showcasing Brazilian culture in Vancouver. It features live music and various activities indoors.
As many as 15,000 Brazilians live in British Columbia, many of them in Metro Vancouver. The Brazilian Carnaval is hosted by Latincouver which is an organization that brings together Latin Americans and fans of the culture. Latincouver is also behind Carnaval del Sol in the summer and Latin American Heritage Month in the fall.
When and Where
In 2026 the Brazilian Carnaval happens on Saturday, March 7th. It’s held at the Croatian Cultural Centre, located at 3250 Commercial Drive in Vancouver.
The entire program runs from noon until 11:30 pm. There are family-friendly activities including face painting, cultural booths, demonstrations and Brazilian music. From 6:00 pm until 10:00 pm, there’s also a Night Party for ages 19 and above. Headlining artists take the stage and perform the night away with rhythms of Samba, Axé and more. During the Night Party there’s a designated family area for folks with kids. This section’s capacity, however, is limited.
Admission Prices
Kids passes for the Brazilian Carnaval cost about $15 each in 2026. Tickets for adults, meanwhile, cost $20 for one, $35 for two, and $85 for five. This year, one adult gets in for free with each child.

Brazilian Carnaval Featured Artists and Exhibitors
In 2026 the Brazilian Carnaval features performances by Mateus Vidal, Samba do Meni, and Batucada Sua Percussão Com Instigado. There are also DJ sets by Luiz Campos and Cristian Tee.
Exhibitors on site this year include Aldeia, Costco Business Centre, VanCastro Driving School, Embravan, NotaryCastro, Urban Print Shop, and River Road Café.
