When is the Parade?
The 78th edition of the Cloverdale Rodeo Parade takes place on May 16th in 2026. As usual, that’s the Saturday of the Victoria Day Long Weekend. The parade usually begins at 10:00 am and runs for about 40 minutes (or around an hour, from when the first people see the start of the parade to when the last people see the final entry).
Parade Route
The parade typically begins at the corner of Highway 10 and 177B Street. The procession heads west past the Museum of Surrey before turning right at 176th Street. After a few blocks, the procession turns right again at 58th Avenue. The parade finishes near the corner of 58th Avenue and 177B Street.

What to Expect
Since it’s a free event, expect to see lots of friends and families wandering the streets of Cloverdale. Roads nearby are closed to traffic during the parade, so it’s a pedestrian-only area.
Participants in the parade range from local businesses and organizations to community members. There are marching bands, clowns, tractors, fire trucks, and classic and custom cars. There are also usually riders on horseback (as one would expect from a rodeo parade). Each participating group is registered in one of 11 categories. Winners are chosen at the end. Categories include Junior Band, Antique Division, Comic Division, Dance Division, and others.
There are over 1,000 people involved in the procession, and organizers anticipate more than 5,000 attendees.
