North Van’s Presentation House Theatre
Presentation House Theatre is an entertainment venue with up to 150 seats on Vancouver’s North Shore. Operated by the Presentation House Cultural Society, the theatre has been putting on fabulous shows for over 40 years. Audiences at the theatre enjoy a variety of performing arts including live theatre, dance and music.

Where is Presentation House
Presentation House Theatre is located at 333 Chesterfield Avenue. It’s in a historic building in North Vancouver that has served as a school, city hall, police station and more since 1902.
The theatre is part of the Lower Lonsdale District on the North Shore. It’s about a 10-minute walk from the Lonsdale Quay and the SeaBus Terminal, meaning it’s close to the Shipyards and the waterfront.

2026 Presentation House Shows
Shows described below take place at Presentation House Theatre in early 2026. Tickets are choose your own price, with options ranging from $15 to $50 depending on the show.
The Baking Show Show: The Play
February 12th to 15th, 2026
The Baking Show Show: The Play is a satirical comedy written by Faly Mevamanana. After losing a reality television baking show, the main character Grace turns to sabotage. The show is intended for ages 14 and above. Performances take place daily from February 12th to 15th and tickets cost between $20 and $50 each.
Movie Singalong: Moulin Rouge
February 21st, 2026
Presentation House Theatre hosts a screening of the film Moulin Rouge. Released in 2001, the movie stars Nicole Kidman and Ewan McGregor. Taking place in the late 1800s, the plot highlights a love affair and a struggling club. The film is recommended for people ages 13 and older. Cabaret-inspired costumes are encouraged! Fat Joke
April 16th to 18th, 2026
Fat Joke is a show all about fatphobia. Created and performed by Cheyenne Rouleau, it’s a stand-up comedy event with witty social commentary and lots of laughs. The show runs on April 16th, 17th and 18th in 2026. Tickets cost as low as $20 each.
The Old Woman Who Lived in a Shoe
April 24th to May 3rd, 2026
The Old Woman Who Lived in a Shoe is a popular show intended for kids between the ages of 4 and 7. Written and performed by Linda A. Carson, it’s about an old woman who trades stories for shoes. The interactive show combines fairy tales, music and more. Taking place on the Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays of April 24th to 26th and May 1st to 3rd, tickets cost $15 to $35 each.

About the Theatre
The building that is now the Presentation House Theatre was formerly the North Vancouver City Hall for over half of the 20th century. It was also a police station and the home of the city’s engineering department before it became a theatre in the 1970s.
On top of their main stage shows PHT offers different programs in the community. They offer two programs that are aimed at elementary school students and tour in different schools around the region.
