Bands on the Beach is a music festival that happens in Harrison Hot Springs over the Labour Day Long Weekend in September each year.
For full details about the festival either continue reading or visit the Tourism Harrison website.
TIP: If heading to Harrison Hot Springs for Bands on the Beach, stop at the Sasquatch Museum. It’s right in the town and has free admission. About a 20-minute drive away, there is also Kilby Historic Site which is very interesting and well worth a visit.
For full details about the day of music, see the Tourism Harrison website.
Bands on the Beach in 2025
Free concerts take place in the afternoon along the waterfront during Bands on the Beach. A usual headliner performer each year is the local country rock star Todd Richard who is exceptional. For the first time in many years, he isn’t playing at the event in 2025. However, there are five other featured artists and groups playing live music this year.
When and Where
In 2025 Bands on the Beach takes place on August 30th, which is the Saturday of the Labour Day Long Weekend. The live music is held at the waterfront, close to the beach.
The Resort Town
Harrison Hot Springs is located in the Fraser Valley about a two-hour drive east of downtown Vancouver. It’s a resort town right on beautiful Harrison Lake and worth checking out any time of year, but especially when there is an event like Bands on the Beach going on.
Concert Venues
The free concerts during the Bands on the Beach event happen in the park by the beach near Esplanade Avenue. There is an outdoor stage there and people bring their lawn chairs to sit on as they listen to the music and admire the views.
For full details about Bands on the Beach, see the Tourism Harrison website.
