Where is HollyDaze in the Heights

HollyDaze in the Heights takes place along Austin Avenue in Coquitlam, just south of Blue Mountain Park and just a seven-minute drive from the Coquitlam Ikea. Two years ago the event drew in so many people that organizers had to expand the celebration grounds to include Ridgeway Avenue.

With over 110 vendors and up to around 12,000 visitors, the crowd necessitated a bit of an expansion, and last year it was probably similar.

When is HollyDaze

In 2025, Austin Heights BIA (Business Improvement Association) hosted the HollyDaze celebration on November 15th from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm. After that, people who wanted a bit of an after-party could head to a couple of pubs and restaurants that stayed open later in the area

What to Expect

The HollyDaze event typically draws lots of live performers, vendors and visitors. The event hosts activities for kids including cookie and ornament decorating and face painting. There is also a stage dedicated to kid-friendly entertainment.

For adults, there is a main entertainment stage, food trucks and an open liquoor license for select areas. Of course, adults can also take part in decorating with Christmas trinkets if interested.

The main stage features live music and Indigenous performances. Throughout the celebration there are costumed people circulating and posing for pictures in the likes of Santa Claus, elves and so much more.
