The North Shore Bike Park is an indoor cycling facility in Maple Ridge that used to be located in Capilano Mall. It’s a fun place to ride around and do tricks.
The North Shore Bike Park used to be inside of Capilano Mall in North Vancouver. It had to close the location at the end of March, 2025. Thankfully, it has re-opened at its new location in Maple Ridge at 13065 Katonien Street.
The bike park is a great place for people of all skill levels regardless of the weather. It’s especially popular on days with poor weather when riding indoors is way better than outside in the rain or snow.
NOTE: Due to lower demand in the summer months, the bike park is closed from June 1st in 2026. It plans to re-open once the wet, rainy weather returns in the fall, but the exact date is to be determined.
TIP: Another great attraction in Maple Ridge is WildPlay. It’s an outdoor adventure park with ropes courses, ziplines and other fun things to do. It’s also a place where if you use the promo code VBP15 you’ll save 15%.
The North Shore Bike Park
North Shore Bike Park is (or at least it was when it was in Capilano Mall) the biggest indoor bike park in all of Western Canada. The 60,000+ square-foot venue opened in 2023 and was a popular place for all ages, especially youth and families, before it closed in the spring of 2025. The current venue in Maple Ridge is similar to its former location.
The bike park includes something for beginners, intermediates and experts alike. There are jump lines, air bags, a mini ramp, urban zone and pump track. The easier tracks are marked green whereas the more difficult ones are marked blue and black. The park is perfect for people who love riding their bikes and scooters. There’s also a lounge with tables, a stage, screens and vending machines.
The North Shore Bike Park hosts events from time to time. Morning sessions for preschoolers and special timeslots for seniors are just two of the special events they offer. Rooms can be booked for birthday parties as well. When at its old location, it also offered summer camps and the entire park could be rented for sleepover events. (Although, this is to be confirmed with the park in its new location.)
Visit the Bike Park‘s website for full details and to book your ride when the facility opens.

Location and Hours
The North Shore Bike Park used to be inside Capilano Mall which is located at 945 Marine Drive in North Vancouver. The mall has about 90 stores. The bike park was in the northwest corner of the building’s main floor, in the same area the Sears used to be before it closed down a few years ago. The bike park covered the second largest space in the mall, only behind Walmart.
The Capilano Mall location is now closed. The bike park has since moved to Maple Ridge at 13065 Katonien Street.
Admission Details
There are different types of passes available at the North Shore Bike Park.
Day Passes are valid for one day and come with in-and-out privileges from dawn to dusk. They cost $25 for everyone ages 13 and above, $20 for kids ages 5 to 12, and $10 for children under 5 years old.
Ten Packs are also available and come with 10 day passes for riders of the same age category. They cost $280 for teens and adults, $184 for ages 5 to 12, and $85 for younger children. This is a good way to save money if you and your friends plan on going to the bike park multiple times.
Memberships to the North Shore Bike Park were also available in the past. Unlimited access for one year cost about $1,000 for ages 13 and above, $700 for ages 5 to 12, and $350 for little kids. Meanwhile, monthly subscriptions cost $145 for teens and adults, $100 for ages 5 to 12, and $60 for ages 4 and under. (These two options do not appear to be on offer at the moment, but may return at any time.)

Equipment Rentals
The North Shore Bike Park offers a variety of equipment to rent. This means you don’t have to own a bike to have fun at the attraction.
Bikes available to rent include ones made by Norco, GT and Radio. They all come in several sizes to cater for different heights and preferences. Havoc Scooters are also available to borrow.
Bikes cost about $30 to rent for one day. Scooters, meanwhile, cost about $25. For extra little riders, run bikes are available for $10 for the day. Rentals include helmets which are also available to borrow separately for about $10. Knee and elbow pads also cost around $10 to rent.
