Athiana Acres is a farm in Richmond that grows fruit, vegetables, herbs and flowers near Steveston Village. It also hosts events at different times of the year.
Athiana Acres and its Events in Steveston
Athiana Acres is a 30-acre farm that opened in 2022. It’s located just outside of Steveston Village and close to the southern edge of Richmond.
Athiana Acres promotes itself as an organic and “regenerative” farm. It uses techniques like crop rotations, cover cropping and a lack of artificial chemicals to create a more sustainable ecosystem. The farm is open for public tours on Sundays in the summer and fall. As of 2025 the tours cost $5 per person and give the chance for visitors to see how the farm operates.
There are also a few big events that happen at different times of the year at the farm. One of them is a series of floral workshops on the Mother’s Day weekend in May. Participants get to create a beautiful bouquet of flowers to take home while also learning about different ways to make their own personal flower gardens.
Where is the Farm?
Athiana Acres is located at 12800 No. 2 Road not far from Steveston Village in Richmond. The farm is about 1 km northwest of London Farm and about a 15-minute walk from the historic Britannia Shipyard.
The farm is in the south of Richmond, which means it’s closer to places like Delta and Ladner than it is to Vancouver. It’s about a 40-minute drive from downtown Vancouver in good traffic.

Events at the Farm
There are a few different public events that take place at Athiana Acres between the spring and fall. Below are details about some of them.
Check out the Athiana Acres Events page for the most up-to-date information.
Feast of Fields
Athiana Acres hosted the Feast of Fields for the first time in 2024 and then again in September 2025. Feast of Fields is a fundraiser put on by FarmFolk CityFolk, a non-profit that also hosts similar events on Vancouver Island and in the Okanagan.
The Feast of Fields allows patrons to sample a wide range of locally-grown food and drinks, accompanied by live music and a silent auction.
Long Table Dinner
The Long Table Dinner is a fancy dining experience done in partnership with the Vancouver Vietnamese restaurant Anh and Chi. It includes a five-course tasting menu with drink pairings for each round. The table itself seats 40 people and is set up outdoors (assuming good weather).
In 2024 the Long Table Dinner was on August 17th and cost about $250 (including gratuity) per person.
Mother’s Day Floral Workshops
In 2025 Mother’s Day Floral Workshops took place on May 10th and 11th. There were two sessions each day, with one at 10:00 am and another at 1:00 pm.
Each session included the creation of a bouquet of assorted spring flowers, as well as lessons on creating home gardens. There were also plates of baked goods and other snacks for participants to enjoy.
The workshops happened in the Athiana Acres greenhouse and cost $160 per person to attend. The price included snacks and the vase that participants took the flowers home in.
