Egg Hunts and Easter Activities at Taves Farms
Taves Family Farms runs not just one, but two different kinds of Easter events! One of them is the regular Easterfest family-friendly event which the farm has been hosting for a number of years. It’s a hugely popular event. There’s also a special Hunt ‘n Sip event for adults with cider, food, live music and eggs to find.
Easterfest last year was on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday of April 18th to 20th. Hunt ‘n Sip, on the other hand, only ran on the Saturday. In 2026 Easter Weekend is a couple of weeks earlier. Good Friday is on April 3rd and Easter Sunday is on April 5th.
Taves is located at 333 Gladwin Road in Abbotsford.
See the Taves Farms website for full details about the venue and its events.

Easterfest Family-Friendly Easter Event
Taves Family Farm hosts a popular family-friendly event around Easter each year. All ages are welcome to Easterfest which runs from the Friday to Sunday of the Easter Long Weekend. Last year the attraction opened at 9:30 am and closed at 4:30 pm on all three days. 2026 will likely be the same, although exact details are to be confirmed.
The annual Taves Family Farm event includes access to plenty of activities. All guests get to enjoy a hayride, as well as access to the farm’s pedal karts and jumping pillows. The petting zoo is open throughout Easterfest as well, so it’s a good opportunity to get close to the farm’s bunnies and goats. Guests can usually also cuddle with baby animals.
For an extra cost, there’s a special Easter egg hunt with treats that participants get to keep. In fact, there’s even special treats for dogs to find and enjoy. Food and drinks are available for purchase each year too. Options typically include coffee, ice cream, mini donuts and more.
