The Magic of Spring at Taves Family Farms
The Magic of Spring at Taves Family Farms is a seasonal farm festival that celebrates the arrival of spring with colourful tulips, playful farm attractions and family-friendly experiences. The popular Abbotsford farm transforms its grounds into a magical spring destination where visitors can wander through a blooming garden, see adorable animals, and enjoy outdoor adventures surrounded by the beauty of the Fraser Valley countryside.
The Magic of Spring combines flower displays with farm activities and storytelling elements. Visitors can explore displays, discover hidden photo spots, and spend time with friendly animals while enjoying a relaxing spring day on the farm. The experience’s design creates memorable moments for families and anyone looking to enjoy the spirit of spring.

When and Where?
In April 2026 Taves Family Farms is open on Fridays and weekends between April 3rd and 19th. Its hours of operation are from 9:30 am until 4:30 pm on the first weekend of the month. On the following two weekends, it’s open from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm.
The Magic of Spring takes place at the farm at 333 Gladwin Road in Abbotsford. The farm is a well-known Fraser Valley attraction that hosts a variety of seasonal experiences throughout the year. On site at the farm there is a cidery. Between late summer and the fall there are wonderful Magic of Sunflowers and Pumpkin Patch events.
The Magic of Spring experience runs on select spring weekends. The Easterfest celebration takes place at the beginning of the season, on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday of the Easter long weekend of April 3rd to 5th in 2026. On the following weekends, the Magic of Spring takes place. On April 10th, 11th, 12th, 17th, 18th and 19th, the family-friendly activities continue, but without the egg hunts and Easter Bunny.
Note: The Easter Bunny is only on site during Easterfest on April 3rd to 5th in 2026. He (or maybe she) makes appearances daily at 11:00 am, 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm.
Both experiences offer access to many of the farm’s attractions while highlighting the tulip displays and spring-themed activities across the farm.

What to Expect
During both Easterfest and the Magic of Spring, visitors can explore the Magical Tulip Garden where colourful tulips bloom across the farm in a spring display. Winding pathways lead guests through rows of flowers where they’ll find a gnome home and a charming princess carriage. The garden is designed to feel like a storybook landscape filled with colour and playful surprises.
Animal experiences are another highlight of the season. In the Snuggle Pens, visitors can cuddle baby chicks, fluffy bunnies and playful young goats. Nearby, the Petting Barn features, pigs, sheep, chickens, ducks and a turkey. The event gives guests the chance to interact with a variety of farm animals.
In spring, the Mystical Meadow offers additional outdoor fun. That’s where you’ll find a giant jumping pillow, pedal karts and open play spaces. Visitors can bounce, race and explore the farm. The experience also includes access to slides, trikes, a country store and concession areas for snacks and refreshments.

Admission Prices and Activities at Taves in the Spring
Below is information about Easterfest Passes, Magic of Spring Passes, and the activities that happen at the farm in the spring of 2026. As already mentioned, the Easterfest activities happen on April 3rd to 5th. The Magic of Spring and its passes are for the weekends of April 10th to 12th and 17th to 19th.
The main difference between the two events is that with Easterfest there are hayrides and opportunities to see the Easter Bunny. You can also pay a bit more and join an Easter egg hunt. On the Magic of Spring weekends, there are no hayrides, Easter Bunny characters egg hunting games. Admission to Taves on the Magic of Spring dates, consequently, is generally slightly less.
Easterfest Passes and Activities
The Easterfest Pass is available during the first weekend of the spring celebration. It includes access to a variety of festive activities. During Easterfest on the Easter long weekend, guests can visit the Easter Bunny, enjoy baby animal snuggles, explore the Magical Tulip Garden and play on the farm’s jumping pillows and pedal karts.
The Easterfest Pass also includes a hayride around the farm, access to the Petting Barn, slides and trikes, and time in the Mystical Meadow with the barnyard animals. Visitors also receive a sample of cider at the U-Pick Shack and visit the country store and concession.
Easterfest passes are priced around $24 when purchased online, which is a discounted rate from the regular gate price of about $26. Children ages two and under can attend for free. When paying for admission, guests are asked to select a one-hour time block for their hayride when making their reservations.
Some optional activities are not included with the basic pass. Guests can purchase a Treat Pass, for example, if they want to collect special treats for their family and participate in the orchard egg hunt.

Magic of Spring Passes and Activities
The Magic of Spring Pass is good on later spring weekends and focuses on the farm’s tulip displays and family attractions. This pass includes entrance to the Magical Tulip Garden where guests can see blooming flowers and enjoy the spring scenery.
Visitors also receive a Magical Mocktail in the tulip garden and can spend time in the Petting Barn, cuddle baby animals in the Snuggle Pens and enjoy attractions such as pedal karts, jumping pillows and the Mystical Meadow. Guests also have access to the farm’s country store and concession areas.
Magic of Spring passes are priced at about $24 when purchased online, although prices may vary depending on the date and availability. Children ages two and under can go for free.
For visitors who plan to attend multiple seasonal events, Taves Family Farms also offers a Magical Membership for about $52. The membership includes access to several of the farm’s seasonal experiences including Easterfest, the Magic of Spring, Magic of Sunflowers and Magic of Fall.
