At 14300 Entertainment Boulevard in Richmond, Watermania is located in a big-box entertainment district. Next door is a SilverCity Cineplex Theatre, Extreme Air Park (a giant indoor trampoline adventure park), a Go Bananas facility (for little kids), a bowling alley, and an ice-skating complex.

If you can’t find something fun for children in this area, you likely won’t find it anywhere! It’s not for nothing that Watermania has been voted Richmond’s Best Family Amusement Centre. The aquatic centre is family-friendly, fully wheelchair accessible, and offers complimentary public Wi-Fi.

In addition to its massive swimming pool, Watermania features one-, three- and five-metre diving boards, a wave pool, two waterslides, whirlpools, a sauna and a steam room. There is also a 3,000-square-foot fitness centre equipped with cardio machines, strength equipment, and free weights.

The main pool is approximately 190 feet long. The wave pool includes a large seahorse structure that pours water into a giant tipping bucket. The seahorse is a highlight for younger visitors.

What to Expect

Watermania is a fully indoor aquatic centre that operates year-round. It’s a busy, energetic place, especially on weekends and school holidays. Because it’s located inside the Riverport Sports and Entertainment Complex, there is plenty of parking and easy access from Highway 99 (Exit 32 – Steveston Highway East).
