Milestones Restaurants in Metro Vancouver
Headquartered in Vaughan, Ontario, Milestones is a popular premium-casual dining chain. The place offers chain dining staples such as burgers, steak and pasta and a popular Happy Hour menu. Milestones is also a kid-friendly restaurant, offering colouring sheets and crayons for younger visitors.
Milestones is a wholly owned subsidiary of Recipe Unlimited. The restaurant company also owns other popular chain dining establishments across the country (and the United States) including the Keg, Swiss Chalet and New York Fries.

Milestones Menu
The menu at Milestones is consistent throughout all of their restaurant locations. For dinner, Milestones has a selection of appetizers, salads and bowls, burgers, sandwiches, steaks, pasta and other main courses. Most items are standard chain dining staples (for example, bacon cheeseburgers) but the menu also includes some interesting Asian-inspired dishes such as wonton nachos, Thai basil noodles and a sushi bowl.
On the whole, the Milestones menu is on the slightly less expensive side compared to other similar chain dining establishments. Most of their main dishes are under $30 and some are even under $20. The most expensive item on the menu is the seafood sirloin, which costs $35.
On our most recent trip to a Milestones restaurant, members of our party had the surfside salad, sweet chili chicken bowl and butternut squash ravioli. All were delicious! The ravioli looked small, with only eight or so stuffed pasta pieces on the plate. It was, however, rich, very tasty and surprisingly filling.
Milestones also has many options for those with dietary restrictions. Menu items are labeled with symbols indicating if a dish is vegetarian, vegan or gluten-friendly. They also offer substitutions such as lettuce wraps or gluten-friendly buns for burgers.
Kids Menu
Entrees on the Milestones kids menu are all $10. Options range from classic kids favourites like grilled cheese and mini burgers to more fancy options including grilled salmon or chicken with jasmine rice. The kids menu is available for folk under the age of 13.
Happy Hour
Milestones offers their Happy Hour menu every day from 3 until 6 pm and then again from 9 pm until close (at least this is the case at the Park Royal Milestones location). Food on the Happy Hour menu includes appetizers such as spinach and artichoke dip and chicken drumettes. The menu ranges in price from $6 up to $10 for food, which is quite cheap, and from $5 to $7 for drinks.
We compared a few menu items with their Happy Hour components to see what kind of discount the Milestones Happy Hour menu really offers. Chicken drumettes are listed on the regular menu for $15 but are discounted to $10 on the Happy Hour menu, for a total savings of $5. Wonton nachos are also on both menus, but are only discounted $2 on the Happy Hour menu.
Note: Happy Hour times and prices may vary by location. Check the official Milestones website for the most up-to-date information.
