The Boundary Bay Airshow
The event took place on Saturday, July 19th, 2025 (which was a week later than the previous year).
Unlike the Abbotsford International Airshow, the airshow in Delta is free to attend. It’s also just a one-day event. Chilliwack Flight Fest is also free. The Abbotsford event happened on August 8th to 10th in 2025. The Chilliwack one is usually on the Saturday and Sunday of the following weekend.
The schedule of events was yet to be announced at the time of writing. The Canadian Snowbirds, however, were expected to attend. Other scheduled performers for this year included Brad Wursten, Kyle Fowler, Vicky Benzing and Yuichi Takagi.
Dates and Location Details
The Boundary Bay Airshow usually begins at 12:00 pm. Gates open at 11:00 am.
The event takes place at Boundary Bay Airport, located at 7800 Alpha Way in Delta. The venue is close to Kings Links by the Sea golf course and the Tsawwassen Mills Shopping Mall.
On-site parking at the airport is normally limited and costs around $25. Free parking, however, is available at Paterson Park (5800 Clarence Taylor Crescent) and East Ladner Parking Lot (4626 88th Street). Both lots are quite a walk away from the airport, but free shuttles are usually available every 15 minutes starting at 9:45 am on the day of the event.
This year’s airshow featured the Canadian Forces Snowbirds, Brad Wursten in the MX2, Vicky Benzing in her purple F-51 Mustang, Ross Granley in the Yak-18, Kyle Fowler flying the Long EZ, Yuichi Tagaki in his Pitts Special and the Erickson Aircraft Collection with vintage aircraft on display and in the air.
