Canada Day at Edmonds Park

Burnaby celebrates Canada Day on July 1 at Burnaby Village Museum, Edmonds Community Centre and at Civic Square in various ways and different times.

Burnaby used to have Canada Day activities at Swangard Stadium. That’s where the fireworks and night concerts happened in past years. Since 2023, however, “Streetfest on Central” is the new event and includes activities at Civic Square, Central Park and along Central Boulevard. Central Park is also where the fireworks take place.
