What to Expect

At the Chiquitzin Kids Fiesta, families can enjoy a variety of fun and interactive activities. Live shows and performances take place throughout the event including music, dancing and a lively Zumba class that gets kids moving. Children can also take part in hands-on arts and crafts workshops where they can create, build and explore their imaginations. Most activities are free, with a small materials fee for some.

One highlight is the Dancing Storytime Workshop led by Foolish Operations. This 45-minute session invites families to move through a story using music, blankets and creative play. It’s presented in French, Spanish and English, plus a little bit of ASL for those who need sign language.

At the event there’s also a magic show along with a colourful balloon art show. In addition, for some extra fun, families can dress up and take pictures in a photo booth, creating keepsakes to remember the day.

There are storytelling sessions in English and Spanish offering a quiet, engaging space for children to enjoy beautiful stories from different cultures. There are also face painting opportunities, building zones and plenty of activities to explore. The Chiquitzin Kids Plaza Fiesta is a fun and creative summer event for the whole family.
