Stewart Farm Heritage Site

At Elgin Heritage Park there is Stewart Farm. The historic site is home to an attractive heritage house, a barn, a couple of other buildings and a large grassy area that leads down to a river.

The farm is located at 13723 Crescent Road in South Surrey and open from around mid-February until December every day except Mondays and some statutory holidays. The grounds are free and the house is admission by donation.

Don’t be surprised to be greeted by hosts attired in period costumes when you visit Stewart Farm Heritage Site. They’ll take you on a tour of the property and explain things to you.  It all adds to an authentic experience.

Stewart Farm is fairly quiet most days of the year. On the Victoria Day Long Weekend in May, however, it hosts its Royal Victoria Party which attracts up to a couple of hundred people. At the event there is birthday cake, family-friendly activities and live entertainment including performances by groups like the Vancouver Morris Men.
