Broadway Across Canada in Vancouver
For those who want to see Broadway musicals without flying all the way to New York, Broadway Across Canada provides an opportunity to do so. The company is a subsidiary of Broadway Across America, which tours a number of American cities with similar shows. Each season, the Canadian tour features blockbuster productions performed by professional touring casts, visiting about 10 cities across Canada from Quebec to British Columbia.
The 2024/25 season featured fan favourites including Come From Away, The Book of Mormon, Beetlejuice, Tina: The Tina Turner Musical, SIX, Riverdance, and Disney’s The Lion King.
Now, the 2025/26 season brings an exciting new lineup of award-winning hits, classic revivals, and brand-new productions to Vancouver. This season the lineup includes MJ, Moulin Rouge! The Musical, Les Misérables, Mamma Mia!, and Clue.
Location and Cost
The venue for all of the shows is the Queen Elizabeth Theatre at 630 Hamilton Street. It’s one of the top performing arts theatres in Vancouver. The theatre has a total capacity of a little under 3,000 people.
The shows put on by Broadway Across Canada are all well-known and critically-acclaimed performances. Therefore, tickets are not cheap. Depending on the show and the date, the cheapest seats can sometimes be as low as $35 to $65. You might not always be able to find seats in that price range, however. Tickets for premium seats and weekend shows can range into the hundreds.
Depending on the time of year, you can also purchase a Broadway Across Canada subscription package that includes tickets to four or five shows at a discounted price.
The four-show option for the 2025/26 season includes Moulin Rouge! The Musical (Jan 20–25, 2026), Les Misérables (Mar 18–29, 2026), Mamma Mia! (May 26–31, 2026) and Clue (Jul 28–Aug 2, 2026). The five-show package adds MJ (Nov 25–30, 2025).
Prices for the five-show package range from about $305 in the back balcony and accessible sections up to $900 in centre orchestra, with several tiers in between. An interest-free payment plan is available in six installments (roughly $51–$150 per payment, depending on the section).
(Note: All prices listed above are subject to change. Visit the Broadway Across Canada website for tickets, subscriptions and up-to-date pricing.)
