Noel Holiday Light Festival in Surrey
The Noel Holiday Light Festival is a massive Christmas celebration in Surrey. It takes place at the Cloverdale Fairgrounds which is at 17905 62 Avenue in Cloverdale.
In 2025 the second annual Noel Holiday Light Festival runs on select dates from November 28th to December 28th.
The festival is quite a big endeavour. The Christmas village covers 30,000 square feet and features a full Christmas market, a Ferris Wheel and other rides and vendors to explore. New for this year, the festival also hosts Bright Nights which used to take place at Stanley Park. Now there are close to three million holiday lights to admire at the Cloverdale Fairgrounds.
Hours and Admission
In 2025 Noel Surrey operates on most days between November 28th and December 28th. It’s closed on the Mondays of December 1st and 8th, as well as on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
Tickets for the 2025 event are available online and must be booked for specific timeslots. Partial proceeds benefit the BC Professional Fire Fighters’ Burn Fund. It’s an excellent charity that supports victims of fires and helps keep people safe.
Parking at Noel Surrey is included with admission. The Cloverdale Fairgrounds are near intersections of multiple highways which makes it a straightforward place to drive to. It takes about 30 minutes to get there by car from downtown Vancouver.

Weekday Prices
Tickets for Noel Surrey on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays cost the following:
- Adults (19-64) – $22
- Seniors (65+) – $17
- Youth (7-18) – $17
- Kids (under 7) – Free
Weekend Prices
Prices for Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays are as follows:
- Adults (19-64) – $25
- Seniors (65+) – $19
- Youth (7-18) – $19
- Kids (under 7) – Free
What to Expect
There’s quite a lot to explore at Noel Surrey. The biggest part of the festival is the light displays. There are millions of lights on site in all sorts of configurations, ranging from LED forests to massive light tunnels.
There’s live music, the opportunity to take pictures with Santa, and dance performances to enjoy. There are also roving character actors, like fairy princesses and the Grinch. For kids there’s a candy cane slide, balloon twisting, face painting, crafts and illuminated swings.
The 2025 event features a 50-foot tall Ferris Wheel and bumper cars. Unlimited rides are included with admission! Noel Surrey also features food trucks, a dining area and several fire pits. It’s a licensed event, which means people ages 19+ can buy alcoholic beverages too.
