Foodstock is an annual fundraising festival for the Greater Vancouver Food Bank in Burnaby. It’s a day full of food, music and other fun for adults only.
Foodstock last took place on June 23rd, 2024. The headliner bands were Yukon Blonde and the Matinee. Currently, there are no plans to continue with the festival in the foreseeable future, which means Foostock likely isn’t happening in 2025.

Foodstock Fundraiser Festival
Foodstock is a fundraising event. It’s a one-day festival held in support of the Greater Vancouver Food Bank. The event takes place in Burnaby and is only for people ages 19 and above.
When it does happen, the event features food trucks, beverage vendors, and a marketplace with various vendors. You can find everything from beer and wine to tacos and ice cream. Vendors also sell soap, crafts, tasty sweets and more. There are games to play too.
There’s always great live music at Foodstock as well. Last year’s event was headlined by Yukon Blonde and The Matinee. There were also performances by Mivule, Suppertime and The Hausplants.
Partial proceeds from all sales go towards the Greater Vancouver Food Bank (which is a great cause). Even when you buy food and drinks at the event, you’ll be helping support those in need. It’s a fun way to help a great organization help others in the community.

Date and Location
The 2024 edition of Foodstock happened on Sunday, June 23rd. It ran from noon until 5:00 pm. Currently, there are no plans to run this event again and so it won’t be happening in 2025.
The same as the year before, the 2024 event happened at Burnaby’s Swangard Stadium. The venue is located at 6100 Boundary Road.
TIP: While in the area, especially if the weather is nice, be sure to explore the rest of Central Park. It’s home to beautiful walking trails along with an outdoor pool and a great Pitch and Putt Golf Course.
Admission Details
Tickets for Foodstock 2024 were available online. They cost about $35 per person (which was very reasonable). Tickets included one beverage at the festival.
