Kimchi & K-Food Festival in Coquitlam

The Kimchi & K-Food Festival is a vibrant two-day celebration of Korean culture, cuisine and community. The event brings together food lovers and fans of Korean culture. Whether you’re craving Korean street food, eager to try on a hanbok (i.e. traditional Korean clothing), or ready to cheer on dancers and DJs, K-Food Fest offers a little bit of everything for everyone to enjoy.

Where and When?

In 2026 the Kimchi & K-Food Festival takes place on the Friday and Saturday of August 28th and 29th. Hours on both days are from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm. Admission is free, although some food, drinks, workshops and tastings cost extra

New for 2026, the festival takes place at Town Centre Park in Coquitlam. The park’s address is 1299 Pinetree Way.

Note: Last year the event happened in the City of Lougheed parking lot which is located next to the Lougheed Town Centre SkyTrain Station in Burnaby. This year, however, it’s at its new venue.

Assuming good weather, the free event attracts over 30,000 people. It’s a great opportunity to gather with friends, explore something new and enjoy a full day of Korean culture.
