Just for Laughs Vancouver is a comedy festival featuring live performances at various venues in Vancouver in February. The shows are fabulous, and so funny!
In 2025 the festival ran from February 13th until the 23rd. Headliner comedians included Jerry Seinfeld, Kumail Nanjiani, Tim Dillon and more.
Other events that happened in February 2025 included the Vancouver International Wine Festival, FAN EXPO Vancouver and Love Lights at Capilano Bridge. Lots of Plays, Concerts & Other Shows also happened, including improvisational comedy theatre at The Improv Centre on Granville Island and the Norm Foster comedy Sinners at Metro Theatre in South Vancouver.

Just for Laughs Vancouver
Formerly known as the Just for Laughs Northwest Comedy Fest, Just for Laughs Vancouver usually takes place in the second half of February.
JFL Comedy Fest ticket prices can sometimes start as low as about $10 although the most popular tickets cost much more. Some events are for ages 19+ and others are for all ages.
If you like comedy, this is a festival you won’t want to miss! The shows are hilarious.
2025 Comedy Fest Schedule
Below is a list of just some of the featured comedy performances that took place during the Just for Laughs Vancouver festival in 2025. (Note: Times and details below were subject to change.)
Thursday, February 13th, 2025
- Maz Jobrani – comedian and actor who has been on many shows and also performed at the White House. His show started at 7:00 pm at the Vogue Theatre. Tickets started at about $50 each.

- Harland Williams – The Rio
- Sara Pascoe – The Biltmore Cabaret

Friday, February 14th, 2025
- Tim Dillon – writer, actor and comedian with his own Netflix special performed at the Vogue Theatre. The show kicked off at 7:00 pm and tickets started at about $42 each.

Saturday, February 15th, 2025
- René Vaca – writer, comedian and actor currently performing shows across North America. He stopped in Vancouver during the Just for Laughs festival and performed at The Commodore Ballroom. The show started at 7:00 pm and tickets cost as low as $35 per person.

- Margaret Cho: Live and LIVID! – the talented five-time Emmy and Grammy nominee performed at the Vogue Theatre at 9:30 pm. Tickets started at about $50 each.

- Jiaoying Summers: Origin Story – the touring comedian from China visited Vancouver on this day. Her show took place at the Rio Theatre at 9:30 pm. Tickets started at $35 each.

- Jerry Seinfeld – star of the most successful comedy series of all time, Seinfeld had two shows at Queen Elizabeth Theatre on this day. The first kicked off at 6:30 pm and the second began at 9:00 pm. Tickets started at about $80 each.
