Pitch Fest in Vancouver in 2026

Pitch Fest is the signature elevator-pitch competition of the SHE LATINA program. The event is presented by the Latin-Canadian Business Council (LCBC) and Latincouver Cultural and Business Society. The competition is dedicated to empowering Latin American women entrepreneurs in British Columbia by providing a platform for visibility, mentorship, funding, networking and business growth.

Pitch Fest is a celebration of creativity, resilience, leadership and community. It brings together entrepreneurs, investors, mentors, partners, media and supporters to create meaningful connections and real opportunities for growing businesses.

LATINCOUVER & OTHER LATIN EVENTS

Latincouver is a Vancouver-based non-profit organization that promotes Latin American businesses and culture in the Lower Mainland. It connects people and celebrates Latin American culture.

Latincouver is the same organization that produces other awesome events like Carnaval del Sol, Carnavalito on the Road, and the Expoplaza Latina. They also host the Chiquitzin Kids Fiesta and Latin American Heritage Month, plus a number of other events. On March 6th in 2026, for example, it hosts the Brazilian Carnaval.

When and Where is Pitch Fest

What to Expect at Pitch Fest

The event opens with the She Latina Market. It’s a marketplace featuring handcrafted goods, innovative products, and food vendors run by Latin American women entrepreneurs. Visitors can browse culturally inspired items, support women-owned businesses, and connect directly with creators. The market remains open for the full duration of the event.

The highlight of the evening is the Pitch Fest Competition where selected participants present their businesses to a panel of judges, investors and community leaders. This 5th edition of the event features 30 participants with 8 finalists competing for a $3,000 pre-seed fund. There are additional prizes, mentorship and promotional opportunities too.

Pitch Fest takes place in recognition of International Women’s Day and is part of the broader SHE LATINA program. The initiative supports Latina entrepreneurs through mentorship, training, confidence-building and access to business development opportunities. Participants receive guidance to refine their business plans and strengthen their pitches as part of their growth journey.

The event welcomes Latin American women entrepreneurs and founders as well as investors, business professionals, mentors and ecosystem partners. The organizers encourage media representatives, community supporters and anyone interested in women-led businesses to attend and be part of the experience.
