The Westcoast Wellness Show is a health and wellness event serving the Fraser Valley and Metro Vancouver regions. It takes place in Langley.
In 2023 the event happened on May 12th and 13th. It took place, conveniently, just before Mother’s Day which was on the following day, on Sunday, May 14th. The show was a great destination to take mom to as an early Mother’s Day present. It was also a terrific place to find special treats to give her on the Sunday (and/or keep for yourself)!
Whether the Westcoast Wellness Show happens in 2024 and future years is to be confirmed. 2023 might have been its last year, although we don’t know for sure.
Westcoast Wellness Show in 2023
The Westcoast Wellness Show is a two-day event about physical, mental and social wellness. It’s arguably the best health and wellness show in the Fraser Valley. The event is for everyone interested in their overall well-being.
Whether you’re looking for mental health advice, social resources, parenting tips, or products that promote a healthy lifestyle, the Westcoast Wellness Show is a great place to find what you need (plus probably some things you had never before thought about).
The event features dozens of exhibitor booths to browse. There are representatives from social services and mental health organizations as well as businesses promoting nutritional foods and other health products. The Westcoast Wellness Show also offers presentations by specialists from various fields. There are two rooms with educational talks to enjoy. There’s also a Senior’s Lounge and multiple giveaways.
In 2023 the event coincided with the Mother’s Day Weekend. In addition to the regular show, there was a special VIP Night for Moms. Continue reading for more information about the event.
When and Where?
In 2023 the Westcoast Wellness Show happened on the Friday and Saturday of May 12th and 13th. The event was held at the Coast Langley City Hotel & Convention Centre located at 20393 Fraser Highway in the City of Langley. (Note: The hotel is part of the Cascades Casino Resort and so sometimes referred to by that name too.) Parking at the venue is free.
The event in 2023 ran from 1:00 pm until 6:00 pm on the Friday and from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm on the Saturday.
VIP Night for Moms
VIP Night for Moms was a special two-hour event at the Westcoast Wellness Show in 2023. It happened on May 12th from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, so after the regular show closed for the day.
Despite its name, the VIP event wasn’t only for mothers. It was open to their partners and families as well. The event featured special speakers and a chance to browse the exhibitors in smaller crowds. There was a welcome beverage and swag bags for everyone, plus draws for various prizes. The grand prize giveaway at the evening event was a pair of ethical diamond solitaire earrings!
Show Ticket Prices
Admission prices for the Westcoast Wellness Show depend on your age. Children ages 12 and under have free admission. For everyone else, there aren’t two-day passes available. Tickets for Friday and Saturday are sold separately.
General admission tickets for each day cost $10 per person. Tickets for students ages 13 to 18 and seniors ages 60 and over cost $5. Tickets are available both online and at the door. We expect ticket prices to be comparable when the event returns in 2024.
Unlike regular admission, tickets for the VIP Night for Moms event were only available online. They cost $30 per person and came with a number of perks as mentioned above.
Passport to Wellness Prizes
The 2023 Westcoast Wellness Show featured many different prizes to be won. In addition to the diamond earrings, there were also two huge getaway prizes up for grabs. The first was a three-night getaway to the Penticton Lakeside Resort & Conference Centre for two people. Also included in the prize package were gift cards to local stores and a restaurant. The second getaway prize was a two-night stay at the Harrison Hot Springs Resort for two people. It came with one lunch and one dinner for two people.
Attendees who wanted to win the getaway prize packages had to pick up a Wellness Passport on either day of the show. The passport listed places to visit and stamps to collect while at the event. Attendees dropped their completed passports in the contest entry bin and were entered into the getaway draws.

Note: The Westcoast Wellness Show is much more than just a huge shopping experience. You can find all kinds of amazing products and services at the show. The organizers work hard, however, to also provide actionable information that can make a meaningful difference in the lives of attendees.

The Westcoast Wellness Show features several different talks and presentations. In 2023 there were three speakers at the regular event on the Friday afternoon, as well as two more at the VIP Night for Moms event later that evening. Another four talks happened on the Saturday.
