Vancouver Health and Wellness Shows

A number of health and wellness events take place in Metro Vancouver. They are consumer trade shows featuring health and nutrition products and services.

Some of the main events in the Lower Mainland include the Wellness Show and the Vancouver Health Show. A previous event, the Westcoast Wellness Show, had its last run in 2023. The current shows feature informative presentations and vendors from dozens of health-related service and product providers.

Wellness Shows & Health-Related Trade Shows

Health and wellness shows are events where you can learn about nutrition, holistic medicine, personal fitness, sleep remedies and everything related to health and wellbeing. At the events you might find vitamin companies, physiotherapists, chiropractors, and people selling everything from energy crystals to anti-aging creams, nutritional supplements, beauty products and cures to all kinds of ailments.

Depending on the event, you might meet experts in counselling services, skincare, yoga, behaviour issues, care services for seniors, mental health, drug abuse and life coaching. You might also find exercise equipment, massage tools, gym memberships, and a wide range of other products and services.

Further below in this article you’ll find information about the Wellness Show, the Vancouver Health Show and the Westcoast Wellness Show. The first two shows are two-day events that take place at different times of the year. The last show no longer takes place.

The Wellness Show

The Wellness Show is an annual event that has been happening in Vancouver for many years. It’s all about health and living a balanced lifestyle. Guests can expect to see as many as 250 exhibitors at the show. There are also over 100 different talks as well as various fitness and cooking demonstrations. It’s a big event!

In 2024 the 31st edition of the Wellness Show happens on the weekend of February 3rd and 4th. It takes place at the Vancouver Convention Centre. Saturday hours are from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. Sunday hours are from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm.

Tickets can be purchased online and on-site. General admission to the 2024 event costs $12 at the door. If you buy your tickets online, they cost $10 per person. Kids and teens under the age of 16 typically enter for free.

Women and Wellness Seminars — A Seminar at The Wellness Show

The Vancouver Health Show

The Health Show is another fun and convenient event for health enthusiasts. It’s a nice way to discover new products and services. There are health experts, educational seminars and food sampling opportunities at the show each year.

The Health Show happens in Victoria early in the year, and then again in the fall at the Vancouver Convention Centre. In 2024 the Vancouver Health Show is on the Saturday and Sunday of October 26th and 27th. Exact details are to be confirmed.

For an idea on admission prices, tickets for adults at this event in 2023 cost around $12 per day. Students, seniors and military folks got in for $8. Children ages 12 and under had free admission. As an incentive to arrive early, the first 100 guests on each day received gift bags to take home. We expect admission prices for the show in the fall in 2024 to be comparable.

Nesters Market at the Wellness Show

Westcoast Wellness Show

The Westcoast Wellness Show billed itself as “the Fraser Valley’s premier wellness event,” but people attended it from all over the Lower Mainland. This show had its final run in 2023 and is no longer taking place (at least to our knowledge). When it did run, the show focused on physical, mental and social wellness. There were dozens of exhibitor booths to visit, as well as multiple guest speakers to learn from.

The show took place at the Tradex Centre in 2022, but was hosted at a different venue in 2023. This past year, the Westcoast Wellness Show was at the Coast Cascades Hotel & Convention Centre in Langley. It’s a nice venue. The event ran on the Friday and Saturday of May 12th and 13th, 2023.

Hours at the event in May on the Friday were from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm. There was also a special VIP event for moms from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The VIP Night for Moms was for anyone wanting to attend and spoil themselves. It was also a fun way to kick off the Mother’s Day weekend. Attendees received swag bags and chances to win prizes including a pair of diamond earrings! The Westcoast Wellness Show continued on the Saturday from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm.

General admission in 2023 cost $10 each day, with $5 discounts available for students and seniors. Tickets for the VIP evening, on the other hand, were only available online and cost about $30 each.
