(Note: Ticket prices as well as related terms and conditions are subject to change. See the Tiqets.com website for the most up-to-date details about tickets.)
Britannia Mine Museum
Britannia Mine is a National Historic Site with a historic copper mine museum in the Sea to Sky region. It’s a great museum and highly recommended!
Tickets purchased through Tiqets.com for this attraction are 100% refundable up until around 24 hours before your visit, which is great!
TIP: This attraction is located just 10 minutes by car from the Sea to Sky Gondola, Shannon Falls and Porteau Cove. The first of these places is another attraction you can buy tickets for via Tiqets.com. The latter two are provincial parks that are free to explore. If you combine your trip to Britannia Mine with a visit to one of these other destinations, it can make for a wonderful day trip!
To purchase tickets online for the copper mine museum click Tiqets.com Britannia Mine Tickets.
Capilano Suspension Bridge
Capilano Bridge is one the Lower Mainland’s top attractions. It features bridges in the forest and over a beautiful canyon in North Vancouver. This world-famous attraction is one of the most popular tourist destinations in British Columbia. It’s amazing!
TIP: We recommend tourists from outside British Columbia purchase their tickets for this attraction through Tiqets.com. For residents of BC, however, if you plan to visit more than once, then it’s actually best to buy your pass directly from the attraction. Why? Because BC residents can get an annual pass for the same price as a single-day ticket, but only when buying directly from the attraction.
To purchase admission online for this attraction click Tiqets.com’s Capilano Bridge Tickets. To learn more about the attraction, see our article about Capilano Suspension Bridge.
Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Chinese Garden
The Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Chinese Garden is a peaceful park in Vancouver’s downtown area.
The attraction is small but beautifully designed with Chinese-influenced architecture and plants. It features covered walkways, a pond with koi fish and lots of small trees. Admission prices on Tiqets.com should be similar to what they cost at the attraction.
TIP: Tickets purchased for this garden online can be cancelled with no extra charge (or at least that was the case the last time we checked).
To purchase tickets online click Tiqets.com Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Chinese Garden Admission.
Grouse Mountain is a ski hill with year-round things to do in North Vancouver.
You can’t buy ski tickets for Grouse through Tiqets.com, but you can purchase general admission which includes a ride up in the Skyride Tram and access to the resort’s movie theatre and restaurants. General admission also gives you access to the snowshoeing trails and ice-skating rink in winter, and to chairlift rides, hiking trails, the grizzly bear habitat, and a couple of shows in the summer.
TIP #1: This is a great attraction to combine with a visit to the Capilano Suspension Bridge. The two venues are just a 5-minute drive from each other.
TIP #2: General admission tickets to Grouse also give you access to the resort’s Peak of Christmas attraction during the winter holiday season.
TIP #3: Tickets purchased are non-refundable. That being said, you have the option of paying 12% extra if you want “cancellation insurance” which allows you to cancel with a full refund up until the night before your scheduled visit.
To purchase general admission for Grouse click Tiqets.com Grouse Mountain Tickets.
Hop-On, Hop-Off Bus Tours
The Hop-On, Hop-Off Bus Tours offer great sightseeing rides around Vancouver.
Many of the busses have open-air tops, which is especially nice in warm weather. Tickets are usually valid for 24 hours after boarding a bus, so passengers can get on and off other buses later in the day. This is a fun and convenient way to explore the city.
As of the last time we checked, admission costs the same on the official attraction’s website as it does on Tiqets.com. However, Tiqets.com offers a refundable ticket option for just 12% extra, which some people may want to take advantage of.
The bus tours are scheduled to start in April 2022.
Museum of Vancouver
The Museum of Vancouver is a good place to learn about the history of Vancouver. It’s also just a short distance from the Vancouver Maritime Museum which is another one of Vancouver’s top attractions.
With this attraction, as of the last time we checked, admission purchases through Tiqets.com can be cancelled up until 11:59 pm the night before your visit.
TIP #1: As of early February 2022, if you bought your tickets online the cost was $15 for adults and $10 for children, students and seniors. The price was the same via the museum’s website and Tiqets.com. That being said, interestingly, on the museum’s website there was an additional “online service fee” which worked out to about 10% when you purchased admission. So it cost more through the museum’s official website! There were no additional fees with Tiqets.com, however, which made purchases through that website slightly less expensive. This may or may not still be the case.
TIP #2: Admission is free of charge for people who are Indigenous. As a result, if you are Inuit or First Nation, you don’t have to buy a ticket.
To purchase tickets to this museum click Tiqets.com Vancouver Museum Tickets.
Sea to Sky Gondola
The Sea to Sky Gondola is an attraction in Squamish with a gondola, suspension bridges, trails and more.
TIP: For this attraction, buy your tickets online and you’ll save a few dollars compared to purchasing admission in-person at the gate. We recommend doing your purchase via Tiqets.com, although not if you want a family pass (for 2 adults and 2 children or youth). Family passes, if applicable, will save you a few extra dollars and are only available on the attraction’s official website.
To buy tickets for this attraction click Tiqets.com Tickets for the Sea to Sky Gondola.
Vancouver Art Gallery
The Vancouver Art Gallery is arguably the best art museum in the region. It’s full of paintings, sculptures and other art.
Tickets for this venue when purchased via Tiqets.com can be cancelled for a full refund up until 24 hours before your visit.
TIP: When we checked prices (in February of 2022) we found they were less expensive through Tiqets.com than via the art gallery’s official website. Listed prices on both sites were the same, but with Tiqets.com the rates included GST while on the attraction’s official website the taxes were extra!
To purchase admission via the Tiqets.com website click Vancouver Art Gallery Admission.
The Vancouver Lookout is a popular tourist attraction at the top of the Harbour Centre in downtown Vancouver. At about 550 feet above ground, Vancouver Lookout offers wonderful views of Vancouver and the Lower Mainland.
As of the summer of 2022, Tiqets.com sells tickets at the same price as the official Vancouver Lookout website. However, tickets on Tiqets.com are cheaper in total since they include taxes as well.
To buy tickets to the Vancouver Lookout via Tiqets.com click Vancouver Lookout Tickets.
Vancouver Maritime Museum
The Vancouver Maritime Museum is a great museum that showcases the maritime history of the Arctic and Pacific Northwest regions. This museum is highly recommended.
At the museum there are model ships and maritime artifacts. There is also a real boat indoors that you can climb aboard and explore!
TIP: You can purchase tickets for this attraction online via Tiqets.com. Or, if you go to the museum’s official website directly and use the promo code BESTVANCOUVER, you’ll save 25%! We normally recommend people buy tickets via Tiqets.com because it’s so convenient and cost effective. In this one case, however, we have this special promo code so you can save even more!
To buy tickets via the Tiqets.com website click Vancouver Maritime Museum Admission. To save 25%, however, visit the official Vancouver Maritime Museum website and use the BESTVANCOUVER promo code.
Vancouver Mysteries offers various outdoor adventure games along with a few virtual games. Each outdoor game is a great way to explore the downtown Vancouver area and have lots of fun with friends.
Heroes & Villains is a superhero game where participants protect the city from a monster, while Crime in Downtown is a murder mystery game with clues around Gastown.
Tickets for the two games are the same price on Tiqets.com and on the Vancouver Mysteries website. To buy your tickets via Tiqets.com click Vancouver Mysteries Heroes & Villains or Vancouver Mysteries Crime in Downtown.
Vancouver Police Museum
The Vancouver Police Museum is a place where you can learn about the history of crime and police in Vancouver.
Tickets for this museum via Tiqets.com cost the same as they do via the museum’s official website (as of the last time we checked). They can also be cancelled up until the day before your visit for a full refund.
TIP: Just half a block from the museum is Sunrise Market which is one of the most affordable places in Vancouver to buy fresh produce. Located at 300 Powell Street, the market isn’t a fancy place, but it does have very good prices. While in the area, if you want affordable fruits and veggies, it’s a good place to go.
For tickets to this attraction through the Tiqets.com website click Vancouver Police Museum Admission.
VanDusen Botanical Garden
VanDusen Garden is a beautiful garden with diverse plants. The venue is owned by the City of Vancouver.
When we checked prices in early March, 2022, admission rates on the Tiqets.com website were actually slightly more than for tickets purchased directly from the venue. That’s because with Tiqets.com there was an extra $1.50 service fee (which isn’t normally the case with the website). VanDusen Garden wasn’t at the time selling tickets online, however. If you wanted to purchase admission online in advance, the way to do it was through Tiqets.com.
TIP #1: Admission costs less in winter as well as in late fall and early spring (between October 1st and March 31st). Tickets cost more, on the other hand, in the warmer months (from April 1st until September 30th). When we checked prices with Tiqets.com in February of 2022, prices listed were equal to VanDusen Garden’s less expensive winter rates, even if you purchased tickets for a visit in the summer (which ordinarily cost about 38% more).
TIP #2: Tickets purchased online are non-refundable. That being said, for just 12% extra, you can buy “refundable tickets” that are refundable up until the day before your visit. You have to buy the “cancellation insurance” at the time of your initial purchase though. You can’t go back and buy it later.
To purchase admission to the gardens online see the Tiqets.com website.
The Bloedel Conservatory is an indoor tropical garden in a glass building at the top of Queen Elizabeth Park. The attraction is full of exotic plants and birds.
This attraction is small, but also less expensive than most places. If you like gardens and tropical birds, it’s a great place. It’s also indoors, so perfect for rainy days!
When we checked rates (in March of 2022) admission prices on the Tiqets.com website the same as tickets purchased directly from the venue, except that they had an extra $1.50 online service fee. At that time, however, the Bloedel Conservatory didn’t actually sell tickets online. You could only do that in person at the gate. Consequently, if you want to buy your tickets online in advance, Tiqets.com is the way to do that!
TIP: Tickets purchased online are non-refundable. That being said, for just 12% extra, you can buy “refundable tickets” via Tiqets.com that are refundable up until the day before your visit.
To purchase tickets online click Tiqets.com Bloedel Admission.

Forbidden Vancouver is a tour company with guided walking tours in downtown Vancouver, the West End and Stanley Park. They are exceptional and highly recommended.

Tips and Suggestions
Below is some advice and extra information to make your ticket purchasing experience via Tiqets.com as smooth as possible.
TIP #1: You don’t need to print out your tickets! All attractions on Tiqets.com can scan your digital tickets straight from your mobile device. This is both convenient and better for the environment.
TIP #2: If you ever run into a problem or have any questions about purchasing tickets on the platform, customer support on Tiqets.com is available at all times (so 24 hours a day, 7 days a week).
TIP #3: Sometimes, immediately after you make a purchase through Tiqets.com, the website will recommend an additional attraction you might also be interested in and offer you a 10% discount on the second attraction (which is another great way to save).
Founded in 2014, Tiqets.com is a huge online platform that sells tickets for attractions all around the globe. The company has become one of the most trusted ticket sellers on the Internet, with over 17,000,000 tickets sold worldwide.
The website supports over a dozen languages and even more currencies. There are tickets to over 3,900 attractions located in the Netherlands, Australia, Spain, Japan, Italy, America, Canada, the United Kingdom and elsewhere.
Regardless of the city you are in, all tickets purchased with Tiqets.com are digital so customers receive their tickets immediately after purchasing. In addition, the Tiqets.com cancellation policy is fairly flexible.
In most cases, tickets bought with free cancellation can usually be cancelled up until 24 hours before your visit. If cancelled before the deadline, a full refund is processed. This has been especially good to know during the COVID-19 pandemic.
(Note: With some attractions, tickets are refundable and can be cancelled. With some, however, they are non-refundable. With non-refundable tickets though there is an option to pay just 12% more for a kind of “cancellation insurance”. If you do this, and then need to cancel, you can still get a full refund up until 11:59 pm the night before the date of your visit.)
Considering the fact that most prices on Tiqets.com include taxes, their prices are similar to the prices listed on each attraction’s official website. The prices are more often than not the same. In some cases, however, the deals offered on Tiqets.com are even cheaper!
