The 2024 TED Conference takes place in Vancouver on April 15th to 19th and free live streaming of the event takes place at various libraries across the region.
To attend the actual conference in person costs thousands of dollars. The event is recorded though so you can watch at a later date from the comfort of your home. Alternatively, you can watch via live streaming from a variety of public venues.
Below we list 2024 streaming times and locations for venues in North Vancouver, West Vancouver and Vancouver. Schools and libraries in other parts of town likely offer free screenings of the event too.
Where to Watch the Vancouver TED Conference for Free
Tickets to the live TED event at the Vancouver Convention Centre are incredibly expensive and sell out well in advance. There are still opportunities, however, to enjoy the show.
The 2024 TED Conference runs from April 15th until the 19th. Do you want to take in the TED Conference in Vancouver but you aren’t invited to the live show and/or can’t afford several thousand dollars for tickets?

Free live streaming of the 2024 TED Conference takes place at the West Vancouver Public Library at 1950 Marine Drive in the Welsh Hall. There are also prerecorded sessions available to watch at the same location.
