Formerly called the West Coast Women’s Show, the Canada Women’s Expo is a large retail trade show with vendors, educational displays and more.
In 2024 the event takes place at the Tradex in Abbotsford on October 18th, 19th and 20th. Other events happening on the same weekend include the Vancouver Winter Extreme Ski & Board Swap at the PNE Forum, Nightmare Before Christmas Market at the Maritime Labour Centre, and Fancon HalloweenFest at BCIT in Burnaby. There is also the Circo Osorio Circus in Coquitlam and Cirque du Soleil in Vancouver.

The Canada Women’s Expo in Abbotsford
A three-day long event with hundreds of vendors, the Canada Women’s Expo is a great place to browse any number of products and services. Marketed specifically towards women, over 25,000 people typically attend the event each year. The event is made up of multiple sections of vendors with hundreds of booths to peruse.
Up until last year, the event was called the West Coast Women’s Show. In 2024 the event returns as the Canada Women’s Expo. It now only happens on one weekend and at one location. This year’s event runs from Friday, October 18th, until Sunday, October 20th.
Hours of operation are from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Friday, 10:00 am to 6:00 pm on Saturday and 10:00 am to 5:00 pm on Sunday.
Location and Admission
The 2024 Canada Women’s Expo takes place at the Tradex Centre in Abbotsford, located at 1190 Cornell Street. The venue is a very large one with well over 100,000 square feet of interior space.
Admission Details
Admission to the event this year includes live entertainment, presentations and access to all areas of the show. Early bird admission prices for this year are listed below.
- General Single Day Pass (13 to 64): $13
- Seniors Single Day Pass (65+): $12
- Weekend Pass: $18
The above price is for tickets bought online. The price is valid up until the day before the event. Tickets purchased from October 18th to 20th cost $3 extra. Children ages 12 and under enter for free. Seniors get in for just $10 (early bird price) on the Friday, from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
What to Expect
There is usually plenty to experience at the Canada Women’s Expo. Expect to see hundreds of different exhibitors on hand providing everything from clothes to cosmetics, interior decorations, career advertisements and more. There are also food trucks on-site most years, along with a Wine, Beer and Spirits Zone featuring drinks from different companies.
The booths are typically grouped together based on product categories. There are areas for fashion, beauty and health, as well as other sections for food, travel and home decorations.
One special activity at the event is Girls’ Night Out on the Friday. Guests sip martinis and watch Calendar Firefighters strut down the catwalk.
Fall 2024 Entertainment
The 2024 edition of the event features two stages. One is the Main Stage, while the other is the Midland Appliance Culinary Stage.
