One of the biggest such events in the region, the West Coast Women’s Show is a large retail trade show with vendors, educational displays and more.
In 2022 it took place in June in Abbotsford. In 2023 the event takes place at TRADEX in Abbotsford from October 13th to 15th, and at BC Place in Vancouver from November 17th to 19th. The event bills itself as the “ultimate girls’ day out!”
The West Coast Women’s Show in Abbotsford
A three-day long event with hundreds of vendors, the West Coast Women’s Show is a great place to browse any number of products and services. Marketed specifically towards women, over 25,000 people typically attend the event each year. The event is made up of multiple sections of vendors with hundreds of booths to peruse.
The show normally takes place in the fall. However, in 2022 there were two separate events to enjoy. The first West Coast Women’s Show of the year took place from June 10th to 12th. It happened in conjunction with the Summerfest Country Music Festival. Tickets to see the indoor concerts were included with admission to the West Coast Women’s Show.
The second West Coast Women’s Show ran from Friday, October 14th, until Sunday, October 16th. The hours of operation were from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm on the Friday, 10:00 am to 6:00 pm on Saturday and 10:00 am to 5:00 pm on Sunday.
The 2023 show is also billed as two separate events. The first is the West Coast Women’s Show that takes place at TRADEX in Abbotsford on the weekend of October 13th, 14th and 15th. The hours of operation for both events are 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Friday, 10:00 am to 6:00 pm on Saturday and 10:00 am to 5:00 pm on Sunday.
Location and Admission
The West Coast Women’s Show takes place at the TRADEX Centre in Abbotsford, located at 1190 Cornell Street. The venue is a very large one with well over 100,000 square feet of interior space, which makes it a popular spot to host events like this one.
