West Coast Women's Show

Formerly called the West Coast Women’s Show, the Canada Women’s Expo is a large retail trade show with vendors, educational displays and more.

The Canada Women’s Expo in Abbotsford

A three-day long event with hundreds of vendors, the Canada Women’s Expo is a great place to browse any number of products and services. Marketed specifically towards women, over 25,000 people typically attend the event each year. The event is made up of multiple sections of vendors with hundreds of booths to peruse.

Up until last year, the event was called the West Coast Women’s Show. In 2023 it took place in Abbotsford from October 13th to 15th, and then again in Vancouver from November 17th to 19th.

In 2024 the event returns as the Canada Women’s Expo. Unlike last year, it only happens on one weekend and at one location. This year’s event runs from Friday, October 18th, until Sunday, October 20th.

Hours of operation are from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Friday, 10:00 am to 6:00 pm on Saturday and 10:00 am to 5:00 pm on Sunday.

Location and Admission

The 2024 Canada Women’s Expo takes place at the Tradex Centre in Abbotsford, located at 1190 Cornell Street. The venue is a very large one with well over 100,000 square feet of interior space.

Tickets for the 2024 event are available as of April. Exact prices are to be confirmed.

Admission to the November 2023 event included live entertainment, presentations and access to all areas of the show. Single-day admission prices from last year are listed below. 2024 details might be comparable.

General (13 to 64): $16
Seniors (65+): $14

Children ages 12 and under entered for free each day in 2023. Seniors got in for just $12 on the Friday, from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

What to Expect

There is usually plenty to experience at the Canada Women’s Expo. If previous years were any indication, expect to see close to 400 different exhibitors on hand providing everything from clothes to cosmetics, interior decorations, career advertisements and more. There are also food trucks on-site most years, along with a Wine, Beer and Spirits Zone featuring drinks from different companies.

The booths are typically grouped together based on product categories. There are areas for fashion, beauty and health, as well as other sections for food, travel and home decorations.

One special activity at last year’s event was Girls’ Night Out on the Friday. Guests sipped martinis and watched Calendar Firefighters strut down the catwalk. Free gifts were also available to the first 500 guests on the Saturday.
