Whistler World Ski and Snowboard Festival in 2019

Whistler Ski and Snowboard Festival

One of North America’s premier winter sports events, the Whistler Ski and Snowboard Festival offers a week of concerts, snow sport competitions and more.

Whistler’s Spring Ski Festival

The Whistler Ski and Snowboard Festival takes places in April each year. In 2019 it runs from Wednesday April 10th to Sunday April 14th (which is shorter than in previous years). A couple of years ago it was a 10-day event and last year it went for 6 days.

In the village there are free outdoor concerts, on the mountain there are ski and snowboard demonstrations and competitions during the day, and at night there is live music and parties in the village’s bars and clubs.

Feature events typically include photographer and filmmaker showdowns and multiple music performances.

Concerts during the festival in previous years have includeVirginia to Vegas, Willa, A Tribe Called Red and DJ Jazzy Jeff.
