Mini-Golf, Go-Karts and Fun
Castle Fun Park is a fun place for families, for a variety of reasons. One of its main attractions, its three 18-hole mini-golf courses, is currently under construction.
When open, Castle Fun Park’s two indoor mini-golf courses make it a great place to take children on a rainy day. One course has a jungle theme and the other has a coral sea theme.
Mini-golf costs about $18 per person. The go-karts cost about $12, while the bumper cars, batting cage (currently under construction) and bowling are about $5 and $6 each respectively.
Especially if going to Castle Fun Park on a rainy weekend day, go early in the morning to avoid the crowds. The two-floor modern arcade, concession, wonderfarm kids’ zone, laser maze challenge and laser beam buster, bumper cars, driving range and shooting gallery are open every day of the year except for Christmas Day, from 10:00 am until 10:00 pm.
Castle Fun Park Location
Castle Fun Park’s address is 36165 North Parallel Road in Abbotsford. It’s just off Highway 1 at Exit 95.
Although tons of fun, unless you live in the Fraser Valley or find yourself in the area on your way to somewhere else, Castle Fun Park isn’t a destination in itself. It is conveniently located just off the Trans-Canada Highway, however, so it makes a great place to stop with the kids for a break while traveling either to or from Metro Vancouver.
If you’re in the area, and have kids, then Castle Fun Park is a great place to visit! Kids will have lots of fun, and the mini-golf courses are some of the best!
Tips & Advice
Below are some tips and suggestions to help you make the most of your trip to Castle Fun Park.
TIP #1: When open, both the indoor and outdoor mini-golf courses at the attraction are exceptional. If it’s raining outside, then the indoor ones are the place to be! If it’s a beautiful day, though, go outside!
TIP #2: Metro Vancouver has a fairly significant gas tax to supplement the price of public transit in the region. Abbotsford is just outside Metro Vancouver, which means gas at the stations by Castle Fun Park typically costs as much as 10 cents a litre less than at gas stations closer to the city. So take advantage of the slightly cheaper gas at the pumps and fill up.
