About the Lights
The Lights by the Lake attraction features dozens of light displays all along the waterfront on the grass in front of Esplanade Avenue. Stores and restaurants in the town are decorated too.
The light displays have had a Sasquatch theme each year. Some of the illuminations are just traditional Christmas lights, but some of them are shapes and scenes with a Big Foot theme.

Tips & Advice
Below are some tips and suggestions to help you make the most of your visit to Harrison Hot Springs during the Lights on the Lake event.
TIP #1: If you go to Harrison for the hot springs you’ll want to stay at the Harrison Hot Springs Resort. There is a small and fairly simple facility in town that’s open to the public, but the best pools are restricted to the resort’s patrons.
TIP #2: If you plan to visit Harrison and stay overnight for the hot springs, late November until late January is a good time to go. The lights at night are beautiful and the water is especially inviting when it’s cold outside.
TIP #3: If you aren’t staying overnight in Harrison there isn’t a lot to do in the evening except admire the lights and enjoy dinner at a restaurant. If going just for the lights and only for a few hours, combine your trip with dinner in the town and/or head out early and explore the area before the sun goes down.
TIP #4: Look out for the town’s Sasquatch mascot character! In addition to making an appearance at the inaugural event on the first Saturday, he occasionally shows up on other days too.
