Merry & Bright at Langley’s Martini Town

Martini Town is a film backlot used by a variety of movies and television shows. Built in 2020, the 16-acre property resembles a small town somewhere in North America. Some of the set design looks like New York architecture. Exterior facades include a movie theatre, coffee shop, diner, alley and other locations.

For about one month during the holiday season, Martini Town becomes a Christmas wonderland. The large outdoor set is decorated with lights and Christmas displays for the Merry & Bright event. There’s also a small artisan market with local vendors, along with live music and food trucks. Adding to the holiday festivities, Santa Claus is on-site on the pre-Christmas days as well.

Martini Town’s address is 1123 272 Street in Langley. It’s just south of downtown Aldergrove, about an hour’s drive from Vancouver.

Merry & Bright Video

Check out the video below for a really good idea of what to expect at Martini Town’s Merry & Bright event. You’ll see scenes of the attraction from a previous year.

As you can see, the set is full of beautiful lights. The festive decorations are on all of the buildings and trees. There are singers and visits from Santa Claus at set times as well.

There were a couple more covered areas this past holiday season, which were great for rainy days. In fact, Town Square was covered with a clear tent and the market was inside a heated enclosure.

TIP #3: The attraction is a real film set. There are so many great photo opportunities. Don’t forget your camera!
