Christmas Attraction at Timberline Ranch

If you are looking for a traditional Christmas experience, Timberline Ranch is a great place to visit. The horse ranch turns into a winter wonderland with lights, decorated trees and festive displays. Families can enjoy tasty treats and join activities that bring back the charm of a classic country Christmas in an Old West setting.

At Timberline Country Christmas, visitors can enjoy a variety of festive sights and activities throughout the ranch. The wagon ride is fun for families. It offers a scenic trip around the ranch and a stop at the barn.

At the event, guests can meet farm animals at the petting zoo, explore the indoor adventure maze, and see the Nativity scene that captures the true spirit of Christmas. Children can also decorate cookies in the bakery or test their aim throwing balls in the SnowVille area. For children ages 12 and under, pony rides are available when booked in advance.

Where is Timberline Ranch

Timberline Ranch is located at 22351 144th Avenue which is a 10-minute drive north of downtown Maple Ridge. The ranch is in the foothills of Golden Ears Mountain. It is easy to reach, yet feels worlds away from the city. The place is surrounded by forests and open fields. The ranch offers a relaxing setting for families to enjoy the Christmas season together.

Hours and Admission

Timberline Country Christmas runs on select Fridays to Mondays in December with timed reservations required for entry. In 2025 the attraction operates on December 5th to 7th, 12th to 14th and 19th to 22nd. Reservation arrival times vary by day with Fridays being from 3:00 pm to 6:30 pm, Saturdays from 10:00 am to 4:30 pm, and Sundays from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm. On Monday, December 22nd, arrival times run from 10:00 am to 4:30 pm.

Admission rates vary by day and age group with discounted rates for children and seniors. Pony rides are $6 per child (ages 12 and under) and must be booked ahead of time.

General Admission (ages 6+) – $15 on weekdays and $17 on weekends
Preschoolers (ages 1-5) – $12 on weekdays and $14 on weekends
Seniors (ages 65+) – $12 on weekdays and $14 on weekends
Infants (pre-walking) – Free
Groups of 10 (for any age) – $119 on weekdays and $139 on weekends

Additional discounts are available for groups of between 25 and 100 people when booked in advance. Groups can also reserve a hot, buffet-style meal. Email the ranch for a quote and to book your group at info@timberlineranch.com.

Notes: There is free, but limited parking on site. The ranch asks guests to car pool with friends if possible. Also, all proceeds from ticket sales benefit the charitable work of Timberline Ranch. Other Things to Know About Timberline Country Christmas

Timberline Ranch is a lovely place with an “Old West” theme. It’s a ranch, and it looks like one, compete with false fronts on some of its buildings.

Timberline Country Christmas is designed to be simple, traditional and family-focused. Visitors can enjoy all the activities plus extra time at the Timberline Café. On site you can buy snacks, hot dogs, chili and warm beverages.

Online reservations are required before visiting and participants are encouraged to arrive on time. There are plenty of photo spots, festive music and cozy Christmas moments to enjoy.

Note: Guests are encouraged to dress for the weather as some parts of the event take place outdoors or in unheated barns. It’s also at a ranch, so wear appropriate footwear.
