Brigade Days at Fort Langley
Fort Langley is the National Historic Site fort in the town of the same name. The fort is open year-round and has special events at various times of the year, including its Brigade Days event on the first weekend in August.
The event includes historical re-enactments, actors in period costume, tours of the fort and various fort activity-related demonstrations.
In 2025 admission to the fort was free throughout the summer season, but this offer was only available until September 2nd, and only for this year.
Click Fort Langley Fort for information about the fort in general. Click Fort Langley Town for details about the village. See below to learn about Brigade Days.

Admission to the Fort
As of the spring of 2026, admission to the fort costs $10 for adults and $8.50 for seniors. Children under the age of 18 are free. Most years, the admission rates apply all year, including in the summer, except for the occasional special occasion. Last year and again this year, however, admission is free for everyone between June 19th to September 7th. That’s because of the Canada Strong Pass.
Brigade Days
Brigade Days always takes place on the BC Day long weekend. In 2026 it runs from Friday, August 1st, to Monday, August 3rd.
Access to the fort is usually free year-round for youth under 18 years of age. This year, however, it is free for everyone in the summer, but only until September 7th. After that, regular admission rates apply.
