Port Moody is an attractive town with several points of interest.
Just behind the Port Moody Recreation Complex are great walking trails that lead to the water and then on to Rocky Point Park. If it’s a sunny day, then definitely combine your trip to the market with a stroll through the park.
About a 10-minute drive from the market venue are Belcarra Regional Park and Sasamat Lake, both of which are great places to explore. Trails go all around the lake and the scenery is beautiful.
Also only about 20 minutes away by car is stunning Buntzen Lake. Both parks make fabulous spots for a picnic.
