North Van’s Presentation House Theatre

Presentation House Theatre is an entertainment venue with up to 150 seats on Vancouver’s North Shore. Operated by the Presentation House Cultural Society, the theatre has been putting on fabulous shows for over 40 years. Audiences at the theatre enjoy a variety of performing arts including live theatre, dance and music.

Where is Presentation House

Presentation House Theatre is located at 333 Chesterfield Avenue. It’s in a historic building in North Vancouver that has served as a school, city hall, police station and more since 1902.

The theatre is part of the Lower Lonsdale District on the North Shore. It’s about a 10-minute walk from the Lonsdale Quay and the SeaBus Terminal, meaning it’s close to the Shipyards and the waterfront.

Bright: A Holiday Singalong Concert (Friday to Sunday from December 19th to 21st, 2025)
The Baking Show Show: The Play (Thursday to Sunday from February 12th to 15th, 2026)
Movie Singalong: Moulin Rouge! (Saturday, February 21st, 2026)
Fat Joke (Thursday to Saturday from April 16th to 18th, 2026)
The Old Woman Who Lived in the Shoe (Friday to Sunday from April 24th to May 3rd, 2026)

About the Theatre

The building that is now the Presentation House Theatre was formerly the North Vancouver City Hall for over half of the 20th century. It was also a police station and the home of the city’s engineering department before it became a theatre in the 1970s.

On top of their main stage shows PHT offers different programs in the community. They offer two programs that are aimed at elementary school students and tour in different schools around the region.
