Surrey Pride Festival

The Pride celebrations in Surrey are somewhat smaller scale but there are still a number of events that take place over the course of the month of June.

Pride Events and Celebrations in Surrey in 2026

June is Pride Month and cities across the country hold special events and celebrations during the month. Surrey is no different, with the main Surrey Pride Festival taking place on June 20th in 2026.

You can expect to see plenty of performers in drag as well as local bands on stage. It’s a free event and open to everyone.

Along with the main festival there are other related events that take place during June. They typically include things like drag queen bingo, online history panels, high teas, bowling nights and more.

The 27th Surrey Pride Festival happens on Saturday, June 20th, 2025. It has a new location this year! Previously the event took place in Surrey Civic Plaza outside outside of Surrey City Hall. Now, however, it’s being held at Central City Mall Plaza at 10153 King George Boulevard.

The event takes place from 12:00 pm to 7:00 pm. The festival typically features lots of live entertainment. Previous performers have included Emerald Fire, Foxy Cleopatra, ARRIVAL Canada, Westcoast Harmony and more. The 2026 lineup is to be confirmed.

Other Surrey Pride Events

There are typically a couple other events that happen in the months leading up to the main Surrey Pride Festival.

In 2025 there was a Drag Queen Bingo on February 7th inside the Royal Oak Restaurant. Hosted by Myria Le Noir, the event was a chance for members of the community to gather and have some fun with games of bingo and some drag performances.

Then on May 27th there was a Roof Top BBQ Mingle at the Civic Hotel, Autograph Collection. With a limited number of tickets sold it featured food, live music and drinks as well as a chance to meet some new people.
