Drive-in movie theatres are a thing of the past. In Vancouver there used to be Langley’s Twilight Drive-In. Other places also host outdoor movies in the summer.
The Twilight Drive-In in Langley closed in 2024. In the past there have also been pop-up drive-in theatres, including at Lansdowne Mall in Richmond and the River District in Vancouver. They still happen occasionally, but not so often.

Twilight Drive-In was the Lower Mainland’s only permanent drive-in movie theatre. It was located at 3350-260th Street in Langley. Lansdowne Mall in Richmond usually hosts a weekly drive-in movie event in the summer. A couple of other places do too occasionally.
