Folk bring blankets, lawn chairs, family and friends to enjoy the outdoor entertainment.

2018 Free Outdoor Movies (in Chronological Order)

The following movies in 2018 all start at dusk unless otherwise stated and the list is in chronological order.

Free June Movies in 2018

Here is the list of movies showing on various days in June 2018 (including a number that are NOT free):

June 5 (Tuesday) Movie

  • Hot Tub Cinema – the movie Anchor Man shows at a secret location where people have the option of watching from the comfort of a hot tub. Jacuzzi seats cost $40 per person or $200 for a private tub for a maximum of 5 people. Movie tickets are extra and cost $5 (for both hot tub and non-hot tub audience members).

June 6 (Wednesday) Movie

  • Hot Tub Cinema – the movie Wedding Crashers shows at a secret location where people have the option of watching from the comfort of a hot tub.

June 7 (Thursday) Movie

  • Hot Tub Cinema – the movie Hangover shows at a secret location where people have the option of watching from the comfort of a hot tub.

June 8 (Friday) Movie

  • Hot Tub Cinema – the movie Mean Girls shows at a secret location where people have the option of watching from the comfort of a hot tub.

June 9 (Saturday) Movie

  • Hot Tub Cinema – the movie Dirty Dancing shows at a secret location where people have the option of watching from the comfort of a hot tub.

June 10 (Sunday) Movie

  • Hot Tub Cinema – the movie Zoolander shows at a secret location where people have the option of watching from the comfort of a hot tub.

June 16 (Saturday) Movie

  • Retro Movie Night – One of the following movies will be featured during North Vancouver’s Lynn Valley Days at Lynn Valley Village: Field of Dreams, Honey I Shrunk the Kids, Karate Kid or Roxanne. If you have a preference you can vote for the one you want to see up until May 21st.

  • Stanley Park Summer Cinema – either Spice World (1997) or Xanadu (1980) shows for free on one of the largest outdoor screens in the Lower Mainland. (Exact film details will be confirmed on June 5th).

  • Sandlot – the 1993 American film about coming of age shows at dusk at the Centennial Park Ball Diamond at Mill Lake Park in Abbotsford.

  • Stanley Park Summer Cinema – either Say Anything … (1989) or Ferris Bueller’s Day Off (1986) shows for free on one of the largest outdoor screens in the Lower Mainland. (Exact film details will be confirmed on June 5th).

July 19 (Thursday) Movie

  • Stanley Park Summer Cinema – either The Lion King (1994) or Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (1971) shows for free on one of the largest outdoor screens in the Lower Mainland. (Exact film details will be confirmed on June 5th).

  • Stanley Park Summer Cinema – either Mean Girls (2004) or Clueless (1995) shows for free on one of the largest outdoor screens in the Lower Mainland. (Exact film details will be confirmed on June 5th).
