Foundation House Music Gatherings

Foundation House Music Gatherings are EDM concerts and music festivals that feature electronic dance music. Foundation 9.0 happens at the PNE in May 2024.

The event is scheduled to take place on the May Long Weekend this year. Exact times and details, however, are to be confirmed.

Foundation Music Festivals & EDM Concerts

The Foundation series of events began in February of 2023. After hosting a successful first event at the PNE Forum, six other house music gatherings took place at multiple locations throughout the rest of last year. The series continues with more events in 2024, including one in February, plus another in May.

All of the “music gatherings” are adult-only events, so for people ages 19+. In addition to multiple headliners and DJs at each event, there are also food trucks and a bar serving alcoholic beverages. The events are full of music. They make for fun dancing and socializing.

The organizers behind the Foundation events are Blueprint and Live Nation. They are the same companies behind FVDED in the Park in the summer and the Contact Winter Music Festival in late December.

Foundation 9.0 in Vancouver

Foundation 9.0 was going to take place at New Brighton Park. It was tentatively scheduled to run from 4:00 pm to 11:00 pm on the Saturday and Sunday of May 18th and 19th in 2024.

The event initially received approval from the city, but that is no longer the case. Fortunately, Foundation 9.0 is still scheduled to happen on the May Long Weekend, but at the PNE instead. Exact details about the event are to be confirmed.

Foundation Tickets & Passes

As of mid-March in 2024, ticket prices for Foundation 9.0 have yet to be announced.

Based on previous events in the series, along with the original proposal report, general admission tickets will likely cost between around $80 and $100 per day, but possibly more. Meanwhile, two-day passes might range from $160 to $200 per person. That, however, is just a guess.

VIP and House Guest tickets are usually available at Foundation concerts as well. At previous events, these types of passes have included priority entry and access to a private viewing area, washroom and bar.
