Foundation House Music Gatherings

Foundation House Music Gatherings are EDM concerts and music festivals featuring electronic dance music. They take place at different venues in Vancouver.

In 2026 Foundation 17.0 happens at Deer Lake Park on September 19th.

Foundation Music Festivals in 2026

The Foundation series of events began in February of 2023. After hosting a successful first event at the PNE Forum, several other house music gatherings have taken place at multiple locations. The series continues in 2026 with Foundation 17.0 in September.

The organizers behind the Foundation events are Blueprint and Live Nation. They are the same companies behind FVDED in the Park in the summer and the Contact Winter Music Festival in late December.

Foundation 17.0 in Burnaby

Foundation 17.0 takes place on Saturday, September 19th in 2026. The event happens from 5:00 to 10:00 pm at Deer Lake Park, located at 6450 Deer Lake Avenue in Burnaby.

The Foundation “music gatherings” are normally adult-only events, but this one is an exception. It’s an all ages event in an outdoor setting. Expect the evening to be full of loud music, dancing and socializing. There are typically food trucks and a bar serving alcoholic beverages too.

Foundation Tickets & Passes

General admission tickets for Foundation 17.0 start at about $70 per person. Kids ages 10 and under enter for free with a paying adult.

At previous Foundation events, there have been multiple levels of tickets. For example, at one event last year, there were general admission, house guest and VIP tickets. The special tiers included faster entry as well as access to a private viewing area, bar and washrooms. The difference between the two was that House Guests got to be on the stage for a very up close and personal experience. These types of tickets may be available at future events.
