Great Outdoors Comedy Festival in Vancouver’s Stanley Park
The Great Outdoors Comedy Festival is a series of comedy shows across North America. The festival debuted in Edmonton in 2021. In 2022 there were shows in Edmonton and Calgary. Vancouver was one of four host cities in 2023 and one of seven host cities in 2024. In 2025 the festival’s last stop of six was in Vancouver in September. This year Vancouver is the fifth of five Canadian host cities with two US host cities happening thereafter.
The annual festival is a comedy showcase with entertaining comedians hitting the stage one after another. Big names from the industry perform each year along with smaller local talents. As the name of the Great Outdoors Comedy Festival suggests, all events take place at outdoor venues. The shows happen rain or shine. Alcoholic beverages are available on-site so the festival is only for ages 19 and older.
When and Where is the Comedy Festival?
The Vancouver edition of the 2026 Great Outdoors Comedy Festival runs from August 28th to 30th. The main events run on the Friday and Saturday nights. There are also afternoon and evening shows on the Sunday.
The festival is held at Stanley Park. The park itself is one of the Top Attractions in Vancouver. Organizers set up the event at Brockton Pavilion, located between the Totem Poles and Brockton Oval in the eastern part of the park. It’s a beautiful location along Stanley Park Drive with waterfront views.

The Great Outdoors Comedy Festival in Vancouver in 2026 features Bill Burr on Friday followed by Adam Ray, Anthony Jeselink, Pete Davidson, Pete Holmes, and Jordan Jensen on Saturday. Jeff Arcuri and Matt Rife and friends take to the stage on Sunday.

There are usually multiple types of tickets available for the Great Outdoors Comedy Festival. Prices also depend on which day of the festival you attend.
Below are the starting ticket prices for 2026’s festival as of early April.
- Friday evening (Bill Burr) — $106
- Saturday afternoon (Adam Ray) — $48
- Saturday evening (Anthony Jeselink, Pete Davidson, Pete Holmes, and Jordan Jensen) — $84
- Sunday afternoon (Jeff Arcuri with special guests) — $59
- Sunday evening (Matt Rife and friends) — $117
There are also one day passes for Saturday’s and Sunday’s shows and a three-day festival pass. Prices for these are as follows:
- Saturday One Day Pass — $118
- Sunday One Day Pass — $185
- Weeekend Pass (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) — $289

General admission seating is first-come, first-served. Skip+ seats are also first-come, first-served, but they include early entry and line skipping privileges for the bar. VIP Table seats come with the same perks, as well as a reserved table with food service, free Wi-Fi, and more. The VIP Club seats also include covered space and private amenities.
The event also offers special perks for groups of 12 or more. Whether you’re celebrating a birthday party or just getting together for some laughs, group discounts and upgrades are available.
Groups can save 10% to 20% on tickets depending on the size of the group and ticket type. Attendees may get free upgrades like early entry and Skip+ FastPass bar service. Add-ons like drink credits, chair rentals, decorated tables and screen shout-outs are also available.
