Vancouver, the Movie Industry and Vancouver Film & TV Tours
Did you know that Vancouver is the fourth most important movie-producing city in North America? It is, after Los Angeles (with Hollywood), New York and Toronto (although Vancouver and Toronto often vie for third place).
Lots of movies have been filmed in the city, and many actors are from Metro Vancouver too (including Seth Rogen, Ryan Reynolds, Hayden Christensen, Jason Priestley and Michael J. Fox to name a few, plus musicians like Michael Bublé and Bryan Adams). For this reason, it’s no wonder people love learning about movies filmed in the city, and that movie-related tours are so popular.
Because of the above, Vancouver Film & TV Tours offers guided walking tours through some of the city’s most iconic downtown neighbourhoods and filming locations. Known as Hollywood North, Vancouver has served as the backdrop for numerous blockbuster movies and television series. Led by professional actors, the tours with Storyboard Experiences offer a perfect mix of storytelling, history, film industry secrets and local culture.
If you love movies, TV shows and architecture, or you simply like the idea of exploring the City of Vancouver in a unique way, we highly recommend joining one of these tours. They are fun for tourists, locals and film enthusiasts alike.
