The Vancouver Vaisakhi Parade takes place each year on a Saturday around the week of April 13th. To see what it’s all about, check it out on video.
In 2020 Vaisakhi Day was on April 13th and the parade in Vancouver was supposed to take place on April 18th. However, the event was cancelled due to COVID-19. The 2021 and 2022 festivals were cancelled as well. The parade returned in 2023, however. It happened on Saturday, April 15th. It’s an amazing event, attracting up to 200,000 people in good years with sunny weather.
