Vanier Park’s Winter Market is a free Vancouver event with artisans, food vendors and entertainment. Admission to three nearby museums is also by donation.
To learn about the three attractions and the market itself, either continue reading below or visit the Vancouver Maritime Museum‘s website.
Vanier Park’s Winter Market
The Winter Market at Vanier Park is a holiday-themed event in December. It’s a nice way to spend a Sunday afternoon with family and friends. The event features a number of local artisan vendors selling handmade products. There are also food vendors on site offering holiday-themed drinks and treats. Live performances entertain guests throughout the event. Plus, there’s a Bard on the Beach costume corner with fun photo opportunities.
The one-day event is presented by the Vancouver Maritime Museum, H.R. MacMillan Space Centre, and Museum of Vancouver. During the market, all three of these attractions are open with pay-what-you-can admission! We recommend exploring all three places if you can, as they are all fun, educational and in the same park as the market. Be prepared though for the museums to be busy!
