Westcoast Sightseeing is the parent company of Hop-On Hop-Off Sightseeing. It was formerly called Big Bus, which is now another tour bus company that used to provide “hop-on, hop-off” bus tours around downtown Vancouver. Now though it only operates in Victoria.

Vancouver City Highlights and the Lookout Tour

This tour includes a four-and-a-half hour bus ride around the sights of Vancouver, including a stop and admission to the Vancouver Lookout for a 360-degree 550-foot high view of the city and surrounding area.

City of Vancouver & Capilano Bridge

This is a 5.5-hour bus tour around downtown Vancouver and over to the beautiful North Shore to see the amazing sights at the Capilano Suspension Bridge.

Tips and Advice

Below are some tips to help you make the most of your touring experience in Vancouver.

TIP #1: If you only have one day to see Victoria, then this is a good way to do it. Try to go on a sunny day as the views from the ferry can be spectacular. If you can afford more than one day though, then try to stay over for at least one night in Victoria as it is a beautiful place with lots to see.

TIP #2: Other ways to get to Victoria are via Harbour Air Seaplanes, which is a fast and spectacular way of getting there on a sunny day, or by public transit or car via BC Ferries. If needing accommodation, then make sure to check out the BC Ferries page for the link to its vacation packages.

TIP #3: Another good “hop on, hop off” means of transportation are the mini ferry boats that ply the waters in the False Creek area of Vancouver. A day pass for them costs about $179 for adults and $17 for children and seniors. The aquabus stops at various top attractions including Science World, Granville Island and Yaletown.
