Spring & Fall Abbotsford RV Shows

The Abbotsford RV Shows take place in February and September each year. They feature a wide range of recreational vehicles for sale, plus extra special deals. The RV shows are kind of like a semi-annual open house or customer appreciation day event at Woody’s RV, where all the units are open for viewing and distributor reps are on site to answer questions.

At the RV shows there are lots of recreational vehicles to explore and choose from, especially trailers.

If you are in the market for a new camper, trailer or motor home, or a second-hand one that’s new to you, the RV shows present a great opportunity to find one, and to see what’s out there.

About Woody’s RV World

Events and Dealership Location

The address for Woody’s RV World and both the spring and fall RV Shows is 31708 Marshall Road in Abbotsford.

The venue is just a 5-minute drive from both the TRADEX Centre and Abbotsford International Airport. In almost the opposite direction, it’s also about a 5-minute drive from Taves Family Farms, which is an awesome place to take kids after the show (although the farm is open in September, but not in February).

RV Brands & Types of Units

Woody’s RV World is just a single dealership location, but at it you’ll find RVs from many different brands.

At Woody’s RV, and the Abbotsford RV Shows, recreational vehicle makes you’ll find include Access, Alliance, Big Foot, Bontrager, Coachman, Columbia Northwest, Dynamax, Ember RV, Forest River, Heartland, KZ, Lance, Panoramic, Renegade, Safari Condo, Sunset Park, Venture, Westfalia, Westland RV and Winnebago.

At both the dealership and RV shows there are lots of travel trailers! There are also fifth wheels, truck campers, fold downs, and motorhomes (including Class A, B and C models).

How Are the Abbotsford Shows Different from Others?

Other RV shows take place in the Lower Mainland, but they are ticketed, so you have to pay to go in and look around. You also usually have to pay extra for parking, which adds to the expense of the visit.

Unlike other RV shows in the region, admission to the one at Woody’s is free. Parking on site is free too! Also at the events at Woody’s RV World, there are lots of new RVs on site, but also second-hand ones (which is great for people wanting to save even more money). You won’t find second-hand units at the other main shows in the Fraser Valley, or at least not that we’ve found.

Another difference between this event and other RV shows in the Fraser Valley, for potential product vendors, is that there is no charge to set up a booth (or at least that has been the case in the past). Pets on leash are also welcome at the Woody’s RV show events, which is nice for people who have dogs.

Below is a video showing scenes from the Abbotsford RV Show in the fall of 2026. As you’ll see, there are lots of interesting units to look at.

Abbotsford RV Show in Spring

The spring edition of the Abbotsford RV Show takes place in February. Last time it happened on February 19th to 22nd. It will likely happen around the same time in 2027, or possibly a bit later, but still in the same month.

Of the two shows at Woody’s, the spring one is the bigger one. It includes all the latest models, but also a few extra-discounted ones left over from the previous year. It is also the busier of the two events, with more people looking for new vehicles to use in the upcoming camping season. Last year the spring show also gave away free hot dogs.

Abbotsford RV Show in Fall

The fall edition of the Abbotsford RV Show happens in September. This past year it took place on the Thursday to Sunday of September 17th to 20th. It will likely happen around the same time in 2027, although exact details are to be confirmed.

Of the two RV shows, the fall one is a bit smaller, and quieter. Fewer people are looking to buy new recreational vehicles this time of year. Typical potential customers at this event are either snowbirds (planning to head south for the winter) or people looking for extra-special end-of-season deals, or folks simply wanting to see what’s currently available, just in case they discover something perfect. The event is also good for people who want to dream about owning an RV.

Tips and Advice

Below are some suggestions and extra information to help you make the most out of your visit to Woody’s and the Abbotsford RV Shows.

TIP #1: If you are in the market for a new (or used) recreational vehicle, we recommend you go to either of the two Abbotsford RV Shows. Admission is free, they have extra staff and product representatives on site, and all the units are open for you to walk in and out of freely. Woody’s RV World also has a huge selection.

TIP #2: The Abbotsford RV Shows always take place at the same times and dates as the Earlybird RV Show and Snowbird RV Show, which happen at the TRADEX Centre just a 5-minute drive down the road. These other events are also really good, although you have to pay to get into them.

TIP #3: If you are serious about RV shopping, go to the events at the TRADEX Centre too (but also definitely go to the one at Woody’s. Why wouldn’t you? It’s free and you’ll get to see twice as many options in the same day)! The fact that two RV shows happen at the same time just a 5-minute drive from one another gives you twice the reason to drive out to Abbotsford for a day of RV shopping. If you can’t find what you’re looking for between the two shows, you might not find it anywhere.

TIP #4: Going to an RV show is a great way to learn about (and find) the perfect vehicle. Units are different from one another, with different layouts, finishes and designs. For some people, cupboard space is important. For others, it’s the location of the bathroom or kitchen with respect to the entrance. Make notes of what you like or don’t like after seeing lots of different styles. Do that and you’ll be able to narrow down what you really want.
